Abstract
This intervention work is an inventory of tourist attractions of the Kuya Llakta enterprise in the
community of Caguanapamba, applying the criteria established by the Ministry of Tourism
(MINTUR) in the document "Manual of Tourist Attractions", updated in 2018. This research is
made up of three chapters: in the first part, an analysis is made of the main elements that
make up the community of Caguanapamba: geographical location, history, sociocultural,
environmental, economic, administrative and tourism aspects. This information has been
collected through a literature review, interviews and direct observation. Secondly, the
application of the MINTUR Tourist Attractions Manual document is carried out, divided into
two parts; on the one hand, the Methodological Guide for the Hierarchy of Attractions and
Generation of Tourist Spaces in Ecuador, which is a tool that allows identifying, classifying
and technically assessing the attractions with the best conditions for the development of
tourism activity; on the other hand, there is the Guide for the Survey of Tourist Attractions in
Ecuador; therefore, following the guidelines of this information, 17 inventory files of tourist
attractions in the community of Caguanapamba were drawn up. In the third and last part, the
associativity and generation of tourist spaces is carried out according to the results of the
inventory and finally, three tourist routes are proposed that include the natural and cultural
attractions that were inventoried.
Resumen
El presente trabajo de intervención es un inventario de atractivos turísticos del
emprendimiento Kuya Llakta en la comunidad de Caguanapamba, aplicando los criterios
establecidos por el Ministerio de Turismo (MINTUR) en el documento “Manual de Atractivos
Turísticos”, actualizado en el año 2018. Esta investigación está conformada por tres capítulos:
en primera parte, se hace un análisis de los principales elementos que componen la
comunidad de Caguanapamba: la ubicación geográfica, historia, aspecto sociocultural,
ambiental, económico, administrativo y turismo. Esta información se ha recopilado mediante
una revisión bibliográfica, entrevistas y observación directa. En segundo lugar, se realiza la
aplicación del documento de Manual de Atractivos Turísticos del MINTUR, dividido en dos
partes; por un lado, la Guía metodológica para la jerarquización de atractivos y generación
de espacios turísticos del Ecuador, que es una herramienta que permite identificar, clasificar
y valorar técnicamente los atractivos con mejores condiciones para el desarrollo de la
actividad turística; por otra parte, está la Guía para el levantamiento de atractivos turísticos
del Ecuador; por tanto, siguiendo los lineamientos de esta información se levantaron 17 fichas
de inventario de atractivos turísticos de la comunidad de Caguanapamba. En tercera y última
parte, se procede a la asociatividad y generación de espacios turísticos de acuerdo a los
resultados del inventario y finalmente, se plantean tres rutas turísticas que incluya los
atractivos naturales y culturales que fueron inventariados.
