Abstract
The movement is inherent in human beings, and in the infant stage, expressed mainly in the game in all its manifestations, considering that man is moving even before birth, in the womb. Thus, several authors argue the importance of giving priority attention to movement in the early childhood education, in which the child will be experimenting and experiencing through your body what happens around them. So, the more rich and varied are the spaces and learning materials, the richer will be the experience of the child, contributing significantly to their motor development and laying the foundations for the motor, which, help to strengthen the other capabilities personality of the infant. The objective of this paper is to summarize the different theories about the importance of human movement in the child's development.

El movimiento es inherente al ser humano, y en la etapa infantil, expresado fundamentalmente en el juego en todas sus manifestaciones, considerando que el hombre está en movimiento incluso antes de nacer, en el vientre materno. Es así como, varios autores sostienen la importancia de dar una atención prioritaria al movimiento en la etapa de educación infantil, en la cual, el niño va a ir experimentando y vivenciando a través de su cuerpo lo que acontece a su alrededor. Por lo que, mientras más rica y variada sean los espacios y materiales de aprendizaje, más rica será la vivencia del niño, contribuyendo de forma significativa a su desarrollo motriz y sentando las bases de la motricidad, lo cual, coadyuvará al fortalecimiento de las otras capacidades de la personalidad del infante. El objetivo del presente artículo es resumir las distintas teorías sobre la importancia del movimiento humano en el desarrollo del niño.
