The aim of this study is to design a methodological strategy for the recovery of the Cultural Heritage of the Cerro municipality, integrating the three Main Processes of the University (PSU) from the integrator workshop Project 4th year of the School of Architecture. The opportunity is offered by the felt need of the population of the municipality of El Cerro and government interest. It applies what is defined as integral practice (PI). The problem arises from the shortcomings of the "know-how" in the CUJAE what in theory is defined and accepted as the integrationist approach of the PSU. The main results are: the modeling methodology comprehensive strategy practice and products. It concludes that a comprehensive practice that articulates the substantive processes reconfigures all its components according to the integral formation of students, teachers and community members to the extent that promotes university-company communication.

Current research main objective is to identify colours that traditionally have been use in Cuenca´s Historical Center civil architecture. To reach this objective, a methodology has been developed that includes historic data, stories and testimonies of people that have kept in their memory, the colours that have been part of the city´s image. Additionally, prospective samples or "calas” were obtained to discover in situ, colours that were hidden in the walls and other facades´ elements of some historical patrimony buildings. This enabled to make a historical colour palette, which serves as a basic instrument to be taken in account in several chromatic proposals regarding buildings and urban sections inside Cuenca´s Historic Center.

The current paper aims at the restoration of the facades of the Alicia Alonso Havana Great Theatre, headquarters of the prestigious National Ballet of Cuba and considered an important building with recognized tangible and intangible values. It is located at the border of the old city. Its stone façades had different states of damages that were undergoing a constructive process based on proper conservation treatment. The most remarkable characteristics of the main morphologies of alteration, factors and mechanisms that influenced their evolution were shown in this work as well as the proposals of solutions to eradicate them, dealing mainly with the cleaning of the stone, selection of the used method, and the corresponding results.

This article focuses on the carrying out of 36 virtual natural lighting simulations, with the purpose to provide an overview of the contributions of the simulation of natural lighting in an office space and describe their results in the light of the rules for visual efficiency, considering seasonal variations, orientation façade, time and color through the use of specialized software. Three seasons were compared at two different times and two orientations (North and South) where only one window was placed. We used Radiance and Autodesk Ecotec software. Our results showed that during winter and facing South the average lighting levels exceed 27 times the values established by the Official Mexican Norm (NOM-025-STPS-1999 Lighting conditions in work spaces) in winter at South orientation at 12:00 hrs. It was also proven that color reflection coefficient plays an essential role in lighting, increasing up to 63% the level of illumination.

Aulario III de la Universidad de Alicante (1998-2000), Javier García-Solera Vera. Análisis de proyecto arquitectónico
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2016-01) Aguirre Collahuazo, Jonnathan Patricio
This research presents the interest on observing the architectural project phenomenon. The central axis of this study is to understand modern architecture as a process that exposes the precise essence of the form. To analyze critically different projects that show order in its form through esthetic judgment, allows us the opportunity to experience the different processes and design decisions that the author had to confront to be able to develop the project. Thus, the work is focused to make an approach to Aulario III, produced by the Spanish architect Javier García-Solera; using the sketch as a main tool. The aim is found the intrinsically architectural values of the project, this way an evaluation of each structuring element is performed, which allows us to define and expand the knowledge of solid tools used as materials for architectural designing.

The present paper refers to the possibility of conceiving a way of embracing the phenomenon of dynamic perception of space. Morphology’s workshop, in the first level of architecture career, is characterized by the massive and diversity of its members. Students are in an initial implementation process, both with regard to the concept of space as a representation that the creative process needs. It is constant evidence the difficulty in manifesting the spatial experience. Hence the creation of procedures and mechanisms for a more immediate approach to the creation of spaces is required, incorporating the variables of time, tangible and intangible materiality and movement of the observer.

The approach in this study is the analysis of the Quality of the Landscape and the elements of Visual Fragility based on a process and assessment using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), enabling the analysis and implementation of a Sustainable Model of Landscape Intervention. The process is based on the optimization of the treatment and exploration of basic visual elements of the coastal landscape, with the goal of establish groundwork for identification of territorial impacts and possible measures for the conservation, restoration and minimizing changes on it. The object of the analysis were the main elements of the visual quality of the landscape, such as the watershed and its visual fragility and the landscaping capacity; and thereby determine the areas of greatest potential in the landscape, as well as identify the protection areas on the ecological environment in the Bahía de Banderas, México. From that point on it is possible to develop an Evaluation and Strategic Model for potential actions that include Sustainable Landscape Interventions; and recommendations for good practices in the territory occupation by the tourism sector and the activities that generates.
