Panel prefabricado de hormigón aliviano a base de papel periódico y cartón reciclado, destinado a vivienda de interés social
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2014-01) Prieto Jiménez, Sonia
Poverty is latent in the world, and especially in the countries in developing such as ours. The poverty level brings with it the advance or retreat of a country, as well as the impediment that its citizens may possess an own housing, food and even clothing, so all Governments tend to implement housing projects in order to supplement their deficits. It is known that one of the ways to provide housing in a more optimal way, is through the prefabrication of the elements that make up housing, which helps to reduce materials costs, time of construction and workmanship. In the case of the present investigation, we have looked for new materials to be combined with those traditional, at time that we have been seeking more environmentally friendly practices, and the possibility of creating a learning space for professionals committed to poverty of many families in our country, converting to knowledge in development tools and the professionals at the nexus between those who fail to meet their needs (people) and who has the resources and the responsibility to support them (State).

Sustainability and architecture make close their relationship from the conceptual idea, and although sustainability goes beyond, it is present from the moment in which we study the basics of architecture, stage in which it is defined how satisfied the needs of the user and implement them based on a previous study, and based on the use and function that will have every space. This is why, when the materials are determined to use in construction, is established the degree of intervention in the environment.

Espacio y límites, una relación sinérgica
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2014-01) Hidalgo, Patricio
This essay focuses on the analysis and reflection about the presence of the limits into the living spaces, and its components, from the dynamics of their relationships and interactions in the field of complexity. We start from an approach where we position the limit at an intermediate point between the subject who perceives and the multidimensional space, recognizing from this limit its ability to determine the space, conferring particular qualities and features. This problem locates the limits in a highlight point of the spatial configuration, as articulators of sense and carriers of meanings. From this glaze we analyze and describe their characteristics, location, applications, performance, etc.
