The objective of this thesis is to show to the public the origin and main features of the vernacular architecture of the city of Cuenca, and to imply the concept and characteristics of Minimalism, in such a way as to generate a proposal for a Interior Design new trend in which to integrate the two concepts mentioned and express them in 3D images of several indoor housing. The intent of this proposal in the field of interior design is to rescue the rich cultural heritage of the city of Cuenca, promote their application in different indoor environments of buildings that rise quickly in the city and surrounding areas.

This work is dedicated to finding constructive solutions with new land, taking as its starting point the analysis of vernacular EARTH building techniques and advances that have been developed by research groups and experimentation. All this in order to develop a new DESIGN partition, capable of adapting to the technical and formal requirements of contemporary DESIGN, while respecting the parameters contribution to a more conscious architecture with the use of materials and the environment around him.
