Item Diseño de paneles modulares, elaborados a base de fibra de cabuya y cáscara de café, aplicados a un espacio de oficina(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-07-09) Cárdenas Guerrero, María de Lourdes; Pesántez Palacios, Carlos JulioNowadays, the increase of constructions destined for both work and living spaces is very noticeable. To accelerate delivery times and lower labour costs, many buildings are made with prefabricated elements, blocks, slim interior walls, etc. Many of these factors result in spaces prone to sound coming in from every other room, which in turn can cause on the people living in this space: lack of privacy, distractions during their work, irritability and discomfort. On the other hand, we find ourselves in a country with a wide production of fibrous materials, which are not being exploited to their full potential; many fibers are considered useless and are therefore, incinerated or discarded. A correct reuse of these materials for the fabrication of functional and innovative products does not exist. In the present research, it is proposed to implement a modular panel, made with natural fibers and applicable on interior walls, which will contribute to the acoustic absorption of spaces. An analysis will be carried out for an optimum installation system, which will be applied in a work space; the modular panel will fulfill both the functional and decorative requirements at the same time. In this way, it is intended to generate comfort in employees and clients who occupy the spaces intervened.Item Propuesta de rediseño interior del área “Museo de instrumentos musicales Pedro Pablo Traversari” de la Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana, núcleo Pichincha(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-06-27) Briones Naula, Tanya Marianela; Godoy Chacha, Juan DiegoThis project focuses on the interior design of cultural spaces, such as “Pedro Pablo Traversari” museum of musical instruments, which seeks to create a space of public interest through the use of digital tools that improve the experience for Visitors to the exhibition, the quality also seeks through acoustic systems to improve the exhibition quality as an exhibition complement. To achieve this, in the first chapter an investigation based on the management of the museum system has been developed, and the factors that must be taken into account during the design process, together with the classification of musical instruments according to the “Sachs-Hornbostel” system as a guide to develop the distribution and recordings within the intended area, thus seeking to satisfy the needs that have been evident during the investigative process. Finally, the final proposal is presented where it is shown that the dangerous museum conditions are due and the needs evidenced are resolved with the aim of giving a new value of interest to this space that keeps an important part of the cultural heritage of our country.
