Item Composición de dos temas de jazz fusión y albazo, para formato de ensamble mixto(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-07-17) Luna Palacios, José Enrique; Ortega Barros, Jorge AlfredoThe fusion of musical styles is an innovation that constantly occurs in music, which is why it is necessary to innovate in Ecuadorian musical art, as there are nationalistic styles that have not been thoroughly explored, especially in terms of stylistic fusion. This project focuses on the composition of original songs, researching, analyzing, and merging sound resources and instruments from both national and foreign genres, specifically the "albazo" (Ecuadorian) and jazz (a globally originated music born in New Orleans). The set objectives involve composing two fusion songs for a mixed ensemble format, delving into the musical characteristics of the chosen genres and their main influencers. Additionally, a formal analysis of the composition techniques of each style is undertaken, followed by the composition and explanation of the compositional process of the pieces. The methodology used follows Jan LaRue's approach, which outlines fundamental stages: background, observation, and evaluation. The results of this work encompass a theoretical foundation of the two styles used, achieved through formal analysis and subsequent adaptation to function as a fusion. Furthermore, there is a detailed account of the composition process. It is concluded that the fusion of "albazo" and jazz is feasible, as supported by the results tables. This work can serve those who intend to work with these two styles later, taking into account the ease and challenges they might encounter in the compositional processItem Guía metodológica para estudiantes de cuarto año de educación básica: rondas infantiles ecuatorianas(2017) Duchi Albarracín, Juan Carlos; Crespo González, MercedesThe present work aims to create a methodological guide for children from 8 to 9 years old, who are usually attending the fourth year of Basic Education; through the analysis and comparison of methodologies worked by Karl Orff, Zóltan Kodály and Raymond Murray Schafer, who have developed the rhythmic, melodic and rhythmic-melodic theme in children. Starting on these fundamentals based on rhythm, we have considered the use of five Ecuadorian musical genres that generate variety at the time of teaching music. The genres that have been used to develop these children's rounds are: Albazo, Yaraví, Pasacalle, Sanjuanito and Tono del Niño; those who can complement the musical education in the educational centers of our country. The melodies of these rounds gradually increase their level of difficulty, either rhythmically or melodically, those that seek to further develop students' skills and abilities in the reading, writing, analysis, creativity and the ability to memorize through the practice and the connection of the musical activity with other areas of education. The teacher will be in charge of guiding to conception partial or total of this work. At the end, the harmonic accompaniment is annexed for these unpublished rounds, which will allow a better interpretationItem Método de percusión para los géneros musicales ecuatorianos: Pasillo, Albazo, Pasacalle, San Juanito, Yaravi, Danzante(Universidad de Cuenca.
