Item Análisis de la estructura del sistema político-turístico de las entidades que regulan la actividad turística en la ciudad de Cuenca 2016(2017) Tobar Pillco, Mónica Alexandra; Barzallo Neira, Cristina AndreaThe research project consists of analyzing the structure of the tourist-political system in the city of Cuenca in the year 2016, in order to know in a concise way the functions that develop the different entities that regulate the tourist activity in the city. In the investigation an analysis is made on the functions of the entities that control the tourism in the city, as well as inquire about the historical events of the management of the tourist activity of Cuenca in the last twenty years. The main intention of this study is to identify the public and private entities that regulate the tourism activity of the Cuenca city, for which it is necessary to refer to the definition of tourism policy and tourist governance. It is also essential to determine the consequences of tourism administration in the city during the years 2011-2016, regarding the work of the entities that manage tourism development in Cuenca.Item Análisis de la innovación en las MIPYMES turísticas de la ciudad de Cuenca en los años 2011 y 2012(2014) Pasaco González, Bárbara Sofía; Agudo Carreño, Katherine Fernanda; Astudillo Durán, Silvana VanessaThe study presents an analysis of innovative activity in the micro, small and medium tourism enterprises in the city of Cuenca. The information obtained corresponds to the activities of product, process, organization and marketing innovation, and its effect on the profitability and competitiveness of the enterprises during the years 2011 and 2012. The results of the analysis show that tourism MSMEs have an average degree of innovation, while most innovations correspond to organizational innovation, as well as predominates the introduction of incremental innovations in product, process, organization and marketing. Finally, innovation activities did not generate a positive impact on the profitability.Item Análisis de las actividades turísticas sostenibles en el cantón Cañar para fomentar un turismo responsable(2016) Sarmiento Molina, Astrid Marlit; Galarza Cordero, Miguel ÁngelThis thesis is based on the analysis of theimportance of the sustainable tourism to certify the protection of touristic resources, and their potential using techniques and some process that can prove their durability and how they could become a gift for our futures generation. Sustainable tourism, so called for the development of economic, cultural, social, political and whose main motivation is to promote tourism in ways that contribute to the progress of the regional economy and thus improve the quality of tourist services, just way seek to improve preservation strategies attractions. The canton Cañar possessed of great landscapes, archaeological, natural and cultural, with the desire to explore it is resources without proper planning; it has led to the deterioration of some tourist resources currently being tapped for preservation. This investigation helps us know some of the touristic activities that we can find inside Cañar, to know the projects and programs to develop tourism and also the work of the tourism and also work of the touristic entities, who are in change of this topic. Being part of community tourism requires the use of a special guide named "Guide of thegood practice in sustainable tourism for communities of Latin America”; which identifies areas that need more work to keep the harmony between the axes of sustainability.Item Creación de una guia turística para el cantón Paute provincia del Azuay(2011) Martínez Gutiérrez, Mayra; Sánchez Rodas, Lourdes MonserrathItem Diagnóstico de la formación profesional y la competencia laboral de los guías naturalistas del Parque Nacional el Cajas según el mercado turístico actual(2016) Auquilla Maxi, Pamela Andrea; Pulla Huiracocha, Andrés Felipe; Machuca Ochoa, Carlos AndrésWe can start by mentioning that the Cajas National Park is one of the best selling tours by authorized operators in Cuenca, and nature guides have an important role in the interpretation of this area. However, the tourist activities in which people relate and interact, in this case nature guides and tourists, raise concerns and questions. For example,how can tourist know for sure that the CNP nature guides are qualified andthat they can meet the needs of tourists? Also, remember that nature guides are the representatives of the tour operator and the site wherethe tourists are visiting. With this in mind, this research begins by identifying general characteristics of what it means to be a tourism guide and specificallya nature guide. Then we examinethe guides’ beginnings in history, classification, functions and duties in accordance with regulations stipulated by qualified authorities in Ecuador. Next, we discuss general aspects of the training of guides and compare job competencywith the minimum requirements of the Standard INEN 2444:2008.This is done to determine the real needs of the tourism market in relation to the services offered by guides through the tour operators. And finally, the characteristics of an ideal nature guide working in the CNP are identified, based on real data that I researched, and according to the three pillars of sustainable tourism: social, economic, and environmental.Item Percepción del desarrollo del turismo: caso residentes de la parroquia urbana El Sagrario de la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador(2019-07-16) Jara Sarmiento, Daniel Esteban; Betancour Reyes, Álvaro Xavier; Espinoza Figueroa, Freddy EdgarThis research project analyzed the perceptions that residents and the public sector have about tourism development in the parish El Sagrario of the city of Cuenca, with the purpose of knowing the advantages and disadvantages that tourism causes in the city. In the first instance, the current situation of tourist activity of the canton Cuenca was analyzed, through secondary source information, subsequently, semi-structured interviews were conducted to officials of the different directorates and departments of the Autonomous Decentralized Government (GAD) of the canton Cuenca related directly or indirectly to the tourist activity with the intent to know the point of view and perceptions from the office with the competence on tourism, in virtue of decentralization. To finish the research work a survey focused on three variables was conducted: labor supply and economic aspects; local culture and quality of life; and governance and citizen participation, which served to identify and know the perceptions that residents have. This research concludes that the perception of the tourist activity in the parish El Sagrario is prosperous and shows potential, since , for the subjects of study, Cuenca is a city that offers many places to visit, being also rich in culture and traditions. However, it is necessary to diversify the tourist offer and generate processes of citizen participation where their points of view are considered.Item Propuesta para el uso turístico de los atractivos naturales del sector la dolorosa, cantón Gualaquiza provincia de Morona Santiago(2015) Patiño Carchi, Mónica Susana; Urgilés Contreras, Diana PaolaThe present monograph work has as objective the elaboration of a proposal toward the development of the touristic resources of the La Dolorosa sector, focused in the nature tourism. For effect, it will analyze the concepts of nature tourism and the activities derivatives of the same; then it will proceed to identify the tourist resources of better exploitation of La Dolorosa sector through an inventory, according to the methodology for the Inventory of Tourist Attractive of the Ministry of Tourism of the Country. And finally, it will design a tour (route) that connects the points of better interest found in the sector. To achieve the proposal object it will make a bibliographic compilation of documents digitals and / or printed that contains important material for developing of the present research and that contributes to the analysis of the actual situation of La Dolorosa sector respect to the tourism. In addition, a lot it will take into account the participation – by means interviews and surveys- of the community that lives in the sector and of the authorities of different institutions who intervenes in the tourist activity in Gualaquiza City.
