Item Prevalencia del acoso escolar desde la perspectiva de estudiantes víctimas y agresores, en la Unidad Educativa Dolores J. Torres, en el periodo marzo - diciembre de 2022(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-02) Asitimbay Chillogalli, Andres Jonnathan; Espinoza Pesantez, John Kevin; Bernal Villa, Max HernánThe research was conducted at the Unidad Educativa Dolores J. Torres, where the DECE department has detected that there are no updated documented records describing the prevalence of bullying. In this sense, the general objective of the research was to determine the prevalence of bullying from the perspective of victims and aggressors’ students who are attending the Unified General High School and Technical High School in the Dolores J. Torres Educational Unit, in the period March - December 2022. The study is of mixed methodology, it consists of a quantitative and qualitative approach, the level of research is descriptive - correlational, a survey was applied as an instrument directed to 118 students of the Unified General High School and Technical High School of the afternoon session, in addition, 4 interviews were conducted with students identified as aggressors by the DECE of the institution, it is important to note that most of the data collection is quantitative. The main results are: the types of bullying that occur in the Unidad Educativa Dolores J. Torres are psychological bullying with 46.61%, continuous cyberbullying with 20.87%, finally, physical bullying with 19.13%. In relation to the aggressors, the interviewees considered these actions as normal and did not consider themselves as aggressors, also these actions are carried out when there is no teacher or authority of the institution present, finally, in the relationship by Chi-square it is evident that there is no dependence between the incidence of bullying situations and the type of family to which the students belong.
