The purpose of this research is the creation of a character through light resources in the play "El
Pan de las diez". The creation process was structured around three fundamental axes:
experimentation regarding the technical and aesthetic possibilities of light in the scene, the
relationship between the actors and the lighting element, and finally, the creative exploration,
also compositional, carried out for the construction of the character. The result is the creation of
the character Chief within the scenic work called "The ten o'clock bread" which is a
representation of violent authority, a critique of abuse, exploitation and social structure.
