This has been characterized as a hidden issue, ie has no specific reflections by educational institutions and others in charge of welfare of teenagers. And many of them in the absence of complaints does not see it as a research topic. For this research, a survey was conducted in two educational institutions of the city of Cuenca, which confirmed the existence of this phenomenon in high level, in a city where the society sees it as normal or as part of the teenagers growth. That is why there is the need to make evident this issue, and was resorted to art, specifically dance and theater, which will serve as a tool to approach to teens and provide them a better education in which not only takes into account the academic side but also the emotional and psychological. And as a result of this research was created a play of dance and theater "what it is not seen‖, which shows the life stories of each of the performers who have suffered from bullyingItem Julieta y julieta(2013) Romero Tapia, Marcia Paola; Peroff Montesinos, María IsabelWithin the major it has given us several staging techniques and construction methods. For my installation I chose to work from the Anthropological Theatre, Stanislavski method and contemporary dance. The Dramaturgy is based in the classic play "Romeo and Juliet" from Shakespeare. I proposed myself to develop an installation with experiences of people that have different sexual tendencies: lesbians. While in Ecuador laws, now a homosexual couple can live together, but it’s still not resolved the legal issues as well as the religious issues, because of discrimination. Therefore this proposal I want to sensitize the spectator taking as a reference Shakespeare's tragedy "Romeo and Juliet" by transferring it to a new contemporary language and calling it "Juliet and Juliet". The lack of acceptance is evidenced by the problems of communication, information and education about the diversity of nuclear families that can and should exist freely in Ecuador and in the world. We need to start changing our mentality and resolve these kinds of problems quickly and what better way of thinking based on the enjoyment of art. In this stage proposal we will discuss the problems posed by Shakespeare: the struggle of social classes, love is not allowed, hidden love, love and hatred between families, in this case would be coupled to a contemporary language with the experiences of homosexual couples would be “Juliet and Juliet” , a love that is present but full of the same old problems. We get a hybrid product of easily comprehension to the public so that the only objective of this work is to acknowledge the variety of choreographic figures of our Azuay Folklore. Through the Anthropological Theatre, a dramaturgical about the migrating body’s ability to transformation, is created and is staged.Item El transgénero y el arte escénico a través de una identidad de género sin condiciones socio culturales(2013-07-22) Delgado Andrade, Andrés Felipe; San Martín Arévalo, Diego PaúlThis project develops a research on the performing arts and gender roles, since in this field gender roles and sexuality are a reflection of the socio-cultural conditions that exist at the national level. This is a study project which exposes the social construction made by the heterosexual system to meet the gender and sexual conditions. Gender roles have been reinforced by the performing arts especially in ballet, where the artist is placed on stage by sex to which it belongs, which contribute to the artistic limitations of the dancers and in general artist. This thesis proposes a performing art without gender and sexual norms and the option to see the human being and the love of got on top of the genders, sexualities and conventional esthetic. In the first two chapters we find the conceptualization of terms used throughout the investigation, and then in later chapters establish the relationship between gender, sexuality and art, as well as a creative everyday practical result of this research.Item La creación de personaje a través del ciberespacio(2014) Verdugo Calle, Fabián Miguel; Vázquez Martínez, Juan AndrésThis dissertation seeks to establish a methodology of creating character, building theoretical acting shaft three streams: Technical Naturalist, which provides actors insight into their emotional universe; Theatre Anthropology, which helps define the body structure of the characters and get stage presence; theater image finally contributing to the establishment of the actions of the characters on stage. In addition we consider the influence of social networks in the contemporary human behavior, focusing on the communication tool Facebook and images that fluctuate through this medium that reference festivities users between 19 to 25 years age in the city of Cuenca. Boletín y elegía de las mitas” de César Dávila A. en la creación coreográfica anti narrativa sobre el mismo(2014) Pico Cabrera, Jonny Xavier; Cardoso Aguilar, María InésThis Choreographic work is about the poem “Boletín y Elegía de lasMitas” of Cuencano writer César Dávila Andrade, this is a poem that has transcended Ecuadorian literature for its fascinating use of words and the topic of the Spanish conquest to Ecuador. This literary work contains some expressive elements in their syntactic structures of which will work in this dance work more with literary devices: alliteration, onomatopoeia and acoustic metaphors, where the linguistic sign of the literary piece is set. The literary resources provide the poem by a sound that contains a subtext of the main ideas: pain, protest and identity; and from these literary figures start the search process of body movement, allowing the body is affected by sound vibrations poetic text, so that the dancer is able to assimilate these sounds, and translate into images, sensations and movement. In the scenic work, is considered the methodology of Merce Cunningham about chaos and chance, and the technique of improvisation, with the objective of avoid a caricatural and linear narrative construction of the poem, a mechanized interpretation, what is sought is an appropriation poem by dancers, genuine interpretive actions found by themselves, and above all a search of movement guided by the sound and content of the literary piece. The choreographic composition is influenced by the current aesthetics of minimalism, with the motive of demonstrating not needing an extensive and complex composition of movements and scenic resources in general, to convey the expressive force and spirituality of the verses of Davila, is more interesting to those small details that resonate in the body and develop a space - temporal dimensionItem Estudio de la corporeidad del Pasillo Ecuatoriano(2014) Idrovo Torres, Valeria Patricia; San Martín Arévalo, Diego PaúlEl Pasillo, is a musical rhythm that is considered an identity in Ecuador, and recently it has caused controversy. The following investigative work, demonstrates the influence this rhythm has over the Ecuadorian people. To do this, we have asked a group of volunteers of various ages and we interviewed them on the matter. They were interviewed regarding their knowledge, and experimented their body reaction towards the rhythm while they were in their intimate spaces. As a result, the development gave way to the staged play “Cuerpos del Pasillo”. The production brings together the previous research in a single montage.Item Ramillete de caminos: el estudio de la Chakana y su influencia en construcción de las expresiones artísticas corporales contemporáneas en la primera década del siglo xxi en Cuenca(2014) Puma Uguña, Nelly Alexandra; Rodas López, Fabiola VirginiaThe proposed present of investigation is to carry out a study of the chakana, about its symbolic-cultural value and to determine how its permanency is marked in the contemporary culture and of what it forms the chakana it influences in the creative processes of some local groups of traditional dance. By means of this information it is sought to design a methodology of scenic construction and to elaborate a dance-theater assembly that contributes to the development of the Ecuadorian scenic art, and reinforce the appraisement of the Andean symbols in the current culture. “Bouquet of roads” it is a dance assembly - theater that one knits starting from psico-corporal states that are derived of the experimentation actoral, with the four elements of the nature (it dilutes, fire, earth, air) that they become factors that stimulate the movement, the corporal energy and they configure the general dynamics of the work. It is also based in the exploration carried out in some groups of traditional dance of Cuenca, to know their working methodology. To all this it is added my personal vision of the contemporary dance and the theater, to be able to this way to approach the coalition of scenic languages. The work has as symbolic axis to the old man that represents the earth, the air, the fire and the water. The corporal work of the dancers evokes mythological gods and sacred animals of the Andean mythology. It is appealed to sounds of traditional instruments of wind and several authors' music. The conception of the choreographic design in the space, manages the geometric forms of the chakana that represent the cycles of life of the human being inside the Andean cosmovisiónItem Experimentación de ejercicios de teatro y danza basados en los sonidos de instrumentos musicales de la cultura afro-esmeraldeña(2014) Guzmán Salinas, Paola Valeria; Carrasco Espinoza, Diego AlfonsoThe study constructs a narrative of the iconographic levels, and iconological religious art of the nineteenth century with the theme of good and evil, which provided the key tools for the process of evangelization. The engraving of “The Temptation of Saint Anthony”, canvases of “The Last Judgment” and “The Archangel Michael” are significant in terms of its theological content with an aesthetic that manages a speech of elements such as heaven, hell, angels, and demons, responding to religious orders, as well as the human groups that are linked to these works and how these principles are present in the current imaginary; separated from its evangelizing power, images and religious notions become a new aesthetic, artistic, social and historical evocation.Item Investigación y dirección escénica en base al poema Quiero de Jorge Bucay de lenguaje de señas, mediante herramientas de danzateatro para una propuesta escénica(2014) Moncayo Orbe, Verónica Cristina; Vázquez Martínez, Juan AndrésBy using the dancing-theater style from Pina Bausch and the Anthropological Theatre technique, a scenic language has been created from the text "Quiero" by Jorge Bucay: "I want you to hear me without judging me; I want you to think, without advising me..." Here, everything is put together using sign language, turning it into a dancing-theatre staging. This work is intended to show the reality of deaf-mute people, i.e. how their world is; what they hope, what they think, and their relationship with others. In addition, they can use sign language as a tool in dancing-theater performances. Also, this play centers in spectators, who will finally tell if the message reached all alike, taking into account that we have two types of audience: the deaf-mute and people without any disabilities.
