Item Diseño y aplicación de un programa de entrenamiento funcional basado en multitareas físico cognitivas para medir las distintas manifestaciones del desempeño técnico de los futbolistas de la categoría sub 17 del Club Estudiantes de la ciudad de Cuenca 2019(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-03-19) Zhañay Cárdenas, Diego Fernando; Cornejo Zambrano, Andrés ManuelWith the march of time, sports training has evolved by giant steps in measure with other sciences. Football does not escape from this constant search for means and methods of training to increase performance in a highly competitive world and so aspire to sporting glory. Functional physical cognitive training appears in the last few years to have become a great aid allegedly capable of improving athletes’ performance by employing a mixture of power, coordination, velocity and cognition exercises and specific football exercises that adapt themselves to actual situations arising during an official match. For this reason, it has been decided to apply this system of training and bring to fruition a comparative study among 2 football squads of the sub-17 category. Formed of a “control group”, with players from the Cornejo Zambrano Academy, who conduct a traditional training program. An “experimental group”, with sportsmen from the Club Estudiantes (Student Club) who train with functional physical cognitive exercises. The study is founded on verifying whether the functional physical cognitive training program applied to the “experimental group” functions in such a way that, after applying it, it demonstrates the possession of optimal values above those of the “control group” that maintains a traditional training regimen. The variables evaluated are the pass, control, the goal attempt and reaction speed. The results demonstrate that among the technical values the p-values exceed 5% (0.05), i.e., they are not significant, at the same time that for the reaction speed the p-value is less than (0.05) due to the influence of the years of experience spent trainingItem Efecto de un programa de ejercicios pliométricos específicos, para el desarrollo de la fuerza explosiva en el voleibol categoría 13-15 años(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-11-23) Peña Brito, María Esperanza; Delgado Espinoza, Ana CristinaVolleyball is a cooperative opposition sport, where the explosive strength of the lower limbs is of great importance for the development of the game, especially in some basic fundamental forms such as attacks. The objective of this paper was to analyze the effect of a specific plyometric exercise program through sports implements (stretch bands, sports training parachute, resistance harness and vertical jump trainer) for the improvement of the explosive strength of the vertical jump in volleyball in the junior male athlete´s category. For this, two groups were assigned, a control group from the Sports Federation of Azuay (FDA) and an experimental group from Unidad Educativa Santana (Santana). This experiment consisted on the control group carrying out a traditional program of plyometric exercises versus the experimental group following a program with modern sports equipment. Each, executing 4 jumps, blocking range, attack range, Abalakov and Squad jump, the latter two being measured through a jump platform. The duration of the program was 12 weeks of work, in which, two measurements were taken, at the beginning and end of the program, obtaining results of the differences between the two groups: Attack range 0.1046 ± 0.06 intervention group, 0.1092 ± 0.05 control group, blocking range 0.087 ± 0.02 intervention group, 0.113 ± 0.05 control group, Abalakov 5.415 ± 2.60, 3.066 ± 2.63, Squad Jump 4.708 ± 3.69, 2.550 ± 1.70 intervention group and control group respectively. This study concludes that significant improvement in the explosive strength of the lower limbs was evident in the intervention group, in the Abalakov and Squad Jump jumps, due to the use of modern sports implements to improve the jump.Item Efecto de un programa de entrenamiento interválico intensivo corto en futbolistas juveniles(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-11-20) Granizo Riquetti, Hernán Alberto; Contreras Calle, Wilson TeodoroPhysical preparation in football is a fundamental pillar to optimize sports performance. The inherent logic of this discipline requires repeated sprint sequences with incomplete recoveries, generating fatigue in the players; for this reason it is essential to have an excellent ability to repeat short and maximum stimuli to achieve the desired results in official competitions. The purpose of this work is to analyze the effect of a short intensity interval training program on the performance of the repeat sprint ability (RSA) in 15 youth male soccer players (U-16). Two evaluations were carried out: an initial or pre-program and a final or post-intervention of the RSA, based on the test RCA Aziz et al. (2000), using the RACES TEST® device from Chronojump®. A training program with a duration of 12 weeks was developed, divided into three stages of four weeks each: Accumulation, transformation and realization. The results showed very significant changes statistically (p£0.05) in all test parameters with the T test of related samples, obtaining the following values: RSA Mean 6,28 s to 5,98 s; RSA Best 5,78 s to 5,69 s; RSA Worse 6,76 s to 6,31 s; RSA Ideal 46,29 s to 45,57 s; RSA Total 50,26 s to 47,83 s and the Fatigue Index 8,58 % to 5,11 %. These values corroborate that short intensive interval training improves the ability to repeat sprints, therefore performance. In addition, it is a simple and replicable program for all formative categories in soccerItem Efecto del entrenamiento coordinativo- propioceptivo sobre el rendimiento motor y físico en jugadores de fútbol. Revisión sistemática(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-01-11) Rivera Torres, Juan Enrique; Vidarte Claros, José ArmandoBackground: At present there is not much information about balance, coordination and proprioception training in relation to the improvement of motor and physical performance of soccer players, however, it is a very relevant issue for coaches to apply in training of this sport. Objectives: the objective of this systematic review was to describe the efficacy of coordinationproprioceptive and balance training on motor and physical performance such as passing, ball control and shot on goal in female soccer players. Data sources: a systematic search was carried out in databases such as SPORTDiscus, PubMed, MEDLINE, ScienceDirect, Springer, Scopus, ProQuest and PEDro during the month of June 2020. The equations executed in the search engines contained words such as Propioception, coordination, balance, soccer, sports, skill motor, technique, performance and players. Study eligibility criteria: The inclusion criteria were: i) randomized controlled experimental studies and systematic reviews; ii) studies with a population of soccer players; studies that measure balance, iii) coordination or specific soccer ability. Study evaluation methods: the experimental studies were evaluated with the scientific tools of CONSORT 2010 for their quality in the content report, PEDro Scale for their methodological quality and Cochrane for the risk of bias. The systematic reviews were evaluated using PRISMA for their quality in the content report and AMSTAR for their methodological quality. Results: all the included studies have a good quality both in the content report and in the methodology, and their risk of bias is minimal. On the other hand, coordination-proprioceptive and balance training does improve the motor and physical performance of soccer players, since all the included studies report that there is a significant improvement. Limitations: the present study has 9 experimental studies and 3 systematic reviews, although it has not been standardized how many studies a systematic review should contain, we consider that the number of studies is low. Conclusion: This review concludes that balance, coordination and proprioception training influence the improvement of motor and physical performance of soccer players. Workouts of this type can be supplanted by warm-up, performed after warm-up, after training, or in combination of other tasks. It is recommended that all coaches train these types of skills at all stages of a footballerItem Efectos de la hibridación de modelos pedagógicos en Educación Física sobre la motivación y la intención de ser físicamente activo en estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Herlinda Toral - Ecuador(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-05-10) Coronel Rosero, Claudio Xavier; Andrade Tenesaca, Dolores SusanaPedagogical Models (PM) are based on theoretical premises about teaching and learning, it is necessary to understand the variables of the context and the particularities of the students in order to apply them effectively to PE. The study aims to evaluate the effect of the Hybridization of Pedagogical Models (HMP): Sports Education (DE) and Comprehensive Sports Education (CSE) on motivation, satisfaction of Basic Psychological Needs (BPN) and the intention to be physically active of high school students of the Herlinda Toral Educational Unit. The study used a quasi-experimental design with causal scope, 261 students of 1st; 2nd; 3rd year of General Unified High School (BGU), aged between 15 and 18 years old, participated. A Hybrid Didactic Unit (UDH) based on the MPs: ED and ECD was applied for 6 weeks (12 sessions of 35 minutes). To determine the effect of the intervention, a two-sample t-test with a significance level of 5% and Cohen's test were applied. To establish the degree of fidelity, the video sessions were objectively assessed. The results showed significant variations in intrinsic motivation, motivational regulations, NPB satisfaction and novelty; there are no significant changes in the intention to be physically active. It is concluded that it is possible to obtain positive results by implementing programs that hybridize PM in the context of teaching PE.Item Implementación de estrategias metodológicas para la asignatura de Educación Física en el colegio Benigno Malo para la modalidad virtual ante el confinamiento por una emergencia(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-02-20) Chérrez Cárdenas, Rolando Eduardo; Arciniegas Fárez, Daniela FernandaThe COVID-19 pandemic has presented significant challenges for the teaching of Physical Education, especially in virtual modalities, forcing Ecuador and other countries to adapt to new educational forms. A study in Cuenca, Ecuador, focused on eight Physical Education teachers from two educational institutions during the pandemic, exploring how they faced technological and student engagement challenges. A non-experimental mixed design was used to collect data through surveys and interviews. Teachers reported difficulties in using technology and integrating physical activities in virtual environments. Despite this, they showed a willingness to adapt and some preparation for future virtual modalities. However, the lack of active student participation and problems in assessment were highlighted. To address these limitations, a pedagogical strategy called "Navigating the challenge of the digital world" was proposed. This includes technology training, strategies to encourage student participation, and specific recommendations for the use of social networks. It is suggested to implement this proposal in local contexts, taking advantage of the technology available to students, and then institutionalize it in teacher learning circles. Dissemination on social networks and writing a scientific article are considered steps to validate and expand the proposal. In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of adapting to new educational modalities in times of crisis and proposes practical solutions to improve the teaching of Physical Education in virtual environments.Item Programa de ejercicios para mejorar la eficiencia del gesto técnico de la brazada en el estilo crol, para la selección de triatlón categoría de 10 a 12 años de la Federación Deportiva del Azuay(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-03-31) Arévalo García, Marco Antonio; Varela Solano, Ramiro XavierThe objective of this research is defined in developing an exercise program for the children's triathlon teams, which allows to establish a methodology for the swimming modality, which guarantees the efficiency of the technical gesture of the stroke in the crawl style and to achieve it, they were processed the results in a study sample of 12 triathletes with a minimum experience of one year in swimming, grouped in the categories 10 to 12 years of age, the exercise program is made up of 21 work sessions, with the use of videos and a free software for biomechanical analysis Kinovea, a pre and post test were applied, which allowed through the study of their angles, to establish an average of ranges of objective values in this age category, analyzing the results in the study sample, These were subjected to a process of comparative analysis between the ranges of the angles of the tests before and after applying the exercise program. . The video analysis with biomechanical software, the “Finis Forearm Fulcrum” stroke corrector, the selection program for specific traction exercises, made it possible to identify the triathletes' deficiencies, correct and enhance their technical gesture. According to the analysis of ranges by compliance, positive results were obtained when applying the exercise program, which are summarized: 44% of triathletes reached the optimal angle in the grip phase, 11% of swimmers are within the required angle in the pulling phase and 67% of athletes showed a wide improvement in the pushing phase. It is concluded that the proposed exercise program positively influences the efficiency of the technical gesture of the stroke in the crawl style, in the triathlon selection category of 10 to 12 yearsItem Relación del contenido de clase de educación física y la participación docente con el nivel de actividad física extracurricular en adolescentes de 10-12 años(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-01-17) Medina Chávez, Stalin Miguel; Brito Parra, Jorge EduardoThe main purpose of this research is to examine, using reliable and valid instruments, the relationship between the physical education curriculum at Unidad Educativa Santa Isabel and the amount of extracurricular physical activity among students aged 10 to 12 years. To understand how students' participation in physical education (PE) courses is related to their overall levels of physical activity, this study used a quantitative strategy based on a cross- sectional observational design. A total of 117 students from the sixth, seventh and eighth grades of the GBS program of the Santa Isabel Educational Unit participated in the research. A non-probabilistic sampling strategy was used for the study. The PAQ-C questionnaire was administered to evaluate the levels of PA (Physical Activity) after having used the SOFIT instruments to evaluate the course material, student activity and instructor commitment. Therefore, it is concluded that successful methods for increasing participation in physical activity in and out of school can be developed and proposed when a thorough understanding of the connection between physical education courses and daily physical activity in and out of school hours has been achieved.
