The Amyand hernia constitutes a rare condition characterized by the presence of the vermiform appendix within the hernia sac of an inguinal hernia. Its rate of frequency approximately reaches 1%, and it is more frequently
found on the right side. This condition is usually diagnosed during a surgery. This paper shows the case of a 67 years old patient who was treated this pathology in the emergency service of the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital
