Item Análisis y propuesta de un modelo de gestión logística para el sector comercial de la ciudad de Cuenca, caso de aplicación: Adiscom Aceros del Austro periodo 2015-2016(2017) Soria Vele, María Gabriela; Villa Otavalo, Lorena Beatriz; Campoverde Campoverde, Jorge ArturoThis present word aims " ANALIZAR Y PROPONER UN MODELO DE GESTION LOGISTICA PARA EL SECTOR COMERCIAL DE LA CIUDAD DE CUENCA, CASO DE APLICACIÓN: ADISCOM ACEROS DEL AUSTRO PERIODO 2015-2016" the idea of this work is born as an opportunity to carry out a correct management of logistics, providing useful tools that serve as a point of reference to achieve the efficiency of each one of the activities developed by "Adiscom Aceros del Austro" Continuous improvement implies a commitment, since this issue is currently gaining strength in SMEs, for this reason, inadequate management stagnates the development and aggrandizement of the company. For the methodology of the study a stratified sample was used, the information was obtained through surveys applied to different commercial companies dedicated to the retail sale of items in specialized establishments. The “Adiscom Aceros del Austro” manager was also interviewed to find out how the business is currently working. Among the relevant information detected in the investigation to “Adiscom” is that there is resistance to change, loss of sales, poor customer service, if something goes wrong in any of the subsystems that make up the logistics such as: supply, storage, inventory, transportation and customer service, leads to the immediate loss of customers that significantly affects. To mitigate these problems, a logistic management model was designed that describes the activities and actions to be taken in each of the subsystems in a detailed manner.Item Caracterización y análisis del suministro de productos de línea blanca en Ecuador período 2015. Caso Empresa "X"(2016) Molina Ortiz, Paúl Santiago; Villazhañay Carrión, Jimmy Vicente; Campoverde Campoverde, Jorge Arturo"Characterization and analysis of the supply of products of line white in Ecuador period 2015." The main objective of this titling work is to obtain and analyze updated information on the costs incurred by the supply chain in the white goods sector, since this is in the first phase of the development of mathematical models for the supply chain project. The present titling work is divided in 5 chapters that are described next: • The first chapter addresses all the generalities and background of the white-line sector in Ecuador. Taking as a case study the company “X” • The second chapter will outline the most important theoretical foundations for the development of our titling work, in which we will base ourselves on obtaining and analyzing the variables for the development of mathematical models for the supply chain project. • The third chapter gives the investigation and calculation of the costs related to the supply of inputs of an X company of the white line sector in Ecuador. • In the fourth chapter, these costs will be analyzed, ending with their respective conclusions and recommendations of the final chapter.Item Desarrollo de índices de vulnerabilidad de los usuarios del agua de la subcuenca del río Machángara, afectados por el cambio climático(2019-07-23) Flores Maza, Washington Andrés; Galán Montero, Luciano Agustín; Avilés Añazco, Alex Manuel; Jiménez Yucta, Stalin Daniel; Palacios Gárate, Karina FernandaMachangara River sub-basin is of vital importance for current and future development of Cuenca population due to its water supply capacity for hydroelectric generation, consumption (Tixan drinking water treatment plant), and as a source of agricultural irrigation. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the vulnerability that users of the sub-basin will present in the face of possible extreme events due to climate change. The aim of this study was to determine vulnerability indexes for each of the users present in the sub-basin within the RCP 45 and 85 scenarios. In order to obtain such indexes, it was necessary the future projection of variables such as precipitation, temperature, humidity and wind; which were obtained from large-scale climatological models. Thus, seeing the need to apply a statistical downscaling, the final results were used as input data for the hydrological model; which generated the supply and future demand. From the result of this model, synthetic series were generated. It allowed to obtain 100 possible future scenarios where supply and demand were crossed. Final results obtained indicated that in most scenarios for each user, the vulnerability varies between low and very low. However, the vulnerability increases for the months of July, August and September. These results can help users of the sub-basin to make decisions, allowing them to adapt to possible future problems caused by climate change.Item Modelación del sistema hidráulico de la red de agua potable de la planta de tratamiento Jesús del Gran Poder(2014) Mendieta Prieto, Paúl Vinicio; Idrovo Murillo, Diego BenjamínWith regard to the technological development and the importance of incorporate new work tools to spend in better ways the time on engineering activities, this study focuses on the utilization of software like AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS and WaterGems to evaluate the Jesús del Gran Poder System Water Supply from the Molleturo’s parish of the canton Cuenca, with the objective of simulating the operation of the distribution network with current flow and designed flow for the year 2034. After all this analysis the potentialities and limitations of the system water supply will be shown and explained as well as the proposals for improvement of the system. Chapter I details the basic information of the system water supply and also of the beneficiary communities. Chapter II exposes the hydraulic systems operation and its components. This chapter also explains the conceptual foundations of the three software: WaterGems, ArcGIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D, and shows the feasibility that this programs have to use them in water projects. Chapter III develops the population study and determines the demands generated in the present and in the future of the 8 beneficiary communities. In Chapter IV it is provided the topology properties for each element of the distribution network, setting the coverage that the system water supply has. This chapter explains step by step the process of how to generate a hydraulic model with the software WaterGems, this hydraulic model will be used later on to simulate several calculation scenarios. In Chapter V it is pointed the different problems in the distribution network and also offers recommendations for the system water supply.
