    Evaluación de riesgos psicosociales en organizaciones de acción social de la ciudad de Cuenca

    In today's society, workers increasingly find themselves in work environments that merit greater psychological, physical and mental efforts. This is the case of social action organizations, since their work involves constant interaction with people from priority attention groups, in most cases they are exposed to psychosocial risks. This is how this research was carried in Acción Social Municipal Cuenca and Familias unidas por enfermos del cáncer (FUPEC). The purpose of the research was to evaluate the psychosocial risks in social action organizations in the city of Cuenca. A study was carried out with a quantitative cross-sectional approach, a type of non-experimental design. The instrument applied in this research was the ISTAS 21 questionnaire, medium version, aimed at 60 people working in the different areas of social action organizations in the city of Cuenca. As for the results, it was obtained that the subdimensions, work rhythm and insecurity about employment are in a high range of exposure, that is to say, that the workers are exposed to high levels of physical and psychological exhaustion. This leads to performing the activity at a high rate of work, with a high level of pressure on working time or lack of time to complete the task satisfactorily. There is also a concern about the future in terms of employment, stability and employment possibilities. These results are the necessary basis for diagnosing risk situations in social action organisations and prioritising the preventive actions needed to protect workers' health.
