It is from violent family events that it is decided to take interfamily violence as a real phenomenon that directly affects society, generating tangible consequences in a short, medium and long term. From all of this, it is clear the effects it has on the victims, generating a circle of interfamily violence that can be taken to later generations. The naturalization of violence leads to the acceptance of future violent acts, enabling the development of a state of learned vulnerability, which is mainly appreciable among women in the home. The purpose of this research was to identify the perception that women have regarding the transmission of interfamily violence, the same that was carried out in the province of “Azuay”, “canton El Pan”, in “La Merced” community. Therefore, a qualitative approach with exploratory scope and a phenomenological design was used. We worked with women from the same community, belonging to a support group.
