Item Estudio de factibilidad para la implementación de una microempresa procesadora de abonos orgánicos en el cantón Santa Isabel(2015) Cordero Jarro, Galo Demetrio; Robles Lazo, Rosa Alejandrina; Cedillo Tapia, Hugo AlbertoOrganic fertilizers today have become an alternative for the development of a healthy and friendly agricultural production with the environment, however today manure that exist in the market do not meet the demand, leading farmers use chemical fertilizers to improve production. The overall objective of the research subject was: to perform a feasibility study for implementing a micro processor of organic fertilizers in the area called Santa Isabel, Azuay Province. The study was conducted in the rural place, running surveys to households engaged in agricultural production, organic fertilizer producers and traders, and institutions that support agricultural development. The analysis of supply and demand showed that on Santa Isabel there is a large unmet demand, which currently companies engaged in the production and marketing of organic fertilizers do not meet. Also in this research; the technical parameters necessary for the operation of microenterprises were determined, as the investment required for its implementation was also quantified and organizational model that will use the micro plan was made. The results showed that within the area 83% of farmers use organic fertilizer. Being the type gallinaza and manure bocashi type most used by farmers. According to these results is feasible to implement the microenterprise.Item Regeneración de una plantación de cacao fino de aroma, con la aplicación de una abonadura orgánica, podas de apertura y regeneración de plantas(2014) Gutiérrez Brito, Eduardo Esteban; Ramón Montoya, María TeresitaEcuador produces fine aroma cacao, well recognized for its aroma and finest, as one of the best cacaos in the world and also the most demanded by the countries that produce chocolate. The plantations in Ecuador are in an old stage or they are deserted, with low productive trees that are very high and this difficult the cultural labors, that is why the producers replace this kind of hybrid cacao CCN51. The main goal of this project is to rehab a plantation of fine aroma cacao, with prunes and organic fertilizer. The Project was develop in a plantation called “La Florida”, located in Canton Ponce Enriquez from the Azuay province; in a plot of one hundred and fifty (150) cacao plants, with a distance of four meters between each one. I selected a block of the plantation with five different treatments and three repetitions. The results were analyzed by Adeva, Duncan test and multiple comparisons. The evaluation variables were the output and the sanitation. The plants were prune and regenerate from the beginning of the process. The treatments for the plants consist on the application of organic fertilizer, which was a combination of: one sack of bocashi, and three kilos of: lime, rock powder and phosphoric rock on each plant.
