    Comportamientos constitutivos de violencia en relaciones de pareja en estudiantes de la carrera de Trabajo Social de la Universidad de Cuenca periodo 2024-2025

    Violence in intimate partner relationships has become a social and public health problem, it impacts both men and women regardless of their age; Violence in relationships that are maintained in early adulthood represents a worrying issue since this stage can influence the escalation of violence to other stages of life, which leads to serious consequences in all spheres of development. The objective of this quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental study was to determine the behaviors constituting violence in couple relationships in university students of the Social Work career at the University of Cuenca during the period 2024-2025. To this end, a non-probabilistic convenience sampling was carried out, with 74 students of the Social Work career from 18 to 25 years old; to determine the behaviors constituting violence in couple relationships, the Dating Violence Questionnaire (CUVINO) was used together with a sociodemographic survey that integrated age, sex, place of origin and duration of the relationship. The results obtained showed that behaviors such as talking about relationships that the victim imagines they have and ignoring their feelings are the most frequent within the analyzed population, these behaviors constituting violence in couple relationships occur regardless of sex, age, place of origin or time of relationship. The limitation found in this research was the low presence of participants between the ages of 22 and 25.
