The study was conducted through surveys, interviews and a focus group to analyze the interests and preferences of the customers. The results of the study show a 96% acceptance rate for establishing a cafeteria in this sector; in addition, there is a positive trend in the city of Cuenca towards attending Pet Friendly establishments, with a 76% approval rate. Therefore, strategies are proposed to enable the cafeteria can be promoted to the market and maintain itself in it.
