    There have been a descriptive study on knowledge, attitudes and practices [Capsis] to close the game and recreation in child and parents of Ezequiel Schools and Remigio Crespo Crespo of the urban area of ​​Cuenca, where forms were applied previously established for 180 children and 173 parents of both schools. The most representative aspects found in our study is the relationship of the TV with the behavior and development of children; the continuity of the practice of punishment and repression against the game; cultural and low transmission loss of traditional games in the schools studied; the high degree of socialization of children through the practice of sports; the short time spent by parents to share with their children increased their work hours and spend their free time on television, the belief by parents that the child needs toys sofistificados for recreation; the delegation of parental roles to older children in the care of younger siblings; a significant percentage of the absence of the father in the home was noted due to neglect or migration, framed in the socio-economic and cultural means families under study context
