(2020) Pinos Vélez, Verónica Patricia; Quinde Herrera, Karina Sandra; Abril Ulloa, Sandra Victoria; Moscoso Orellana, Blasco Danilo; Carrión Álvarez, Galo Iván; Urgilés Cárdenas, José Eduardo; Carrión Andrade, Galo Bernardo
The use of new technologies in university education is indispensable for promoting the autonomous work and motivation of a new generation of students who use technology frequently and skillfully. For these reasons, integrated technology into teaching-learning processes is needed. Our study focused on the implementation of the Flipped Learning model (FL) in the Research Methodology course. The content and the activities for the pre-class and class were designed to develop the skills and competencies in the students and to propose a research design. For the first execution, open-access videos were used. After analyzing the first execution, the results showed the need to make personal videos, that include the exact content, making them more attractive for the students as well as to use strategies to ensure that the students prepare the pre-class appropriately. In conclusion, the model encourages students to include technologies as learning tools, adapt their schedules to take better advantage of classes, and apply the knowledge taught in videos to their classwork.

They have led individuals to remain in order or linearity created by concepts or social judgments. “Rows of resistance” pretends to visualize an absurd idea of the progress, by which the human beings live as continuity or repetition carried by the daily mechanical life. It is thus that this project created by organic and inorganic materials is presented in the public space as the place where the majority of individuals of a city live and transit, pretending to move away from places of legitimation like museums or galleries, relating art with society and its bystanders.

(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-05-11) Martínez Sánchez, René Sebastián; Moscoso Orellana, Blasco Danilo
The present thesis project consists of an investigation in artistic production with new media. It focuses on the use of data visualization as aesthetic and conceptual discourse. In the first stage, the relationship between art and computational science and the cultural and social manifestations that emerge from this relationship are explored. Subsequently, the paradigms and discourses that derive from digital art are explored, taking the New Aesthetics as a point of reference. The third chapter describes a research-creation methodology based on the use of software art as a creative strategy and the plotter painting as a strategy of pictorial concretion. Finally, artistic production is presented, the object of this research, accompanied by a reflection and analysis of the results.

Representación del cuerpo ausente mediante el uso de la memoria, huellas e improntas
(2018-05-08) Vidal Barrera, Tania Marcela; Moscoso Orellana, Blasco Danilo
The body is the meeting point of all spatial relationships, it opens up to the world, and it retreats and expands to inhabit different places. But, not only does it exist in its objective state, it also comes into contact with others through its absence. Within art, the possibilities of representing this impersonal body are multiplied by presenting us other ways of living through memory container objects, created from imprints and imprints. The physical body expires but its imprint when transferred to the object can continue to last over time; In the same way, when the body stops being, what is printed on the object remains to contain the memory of what it was.
