Abstract
The body is the meeting point of all spatial relationships, it opens up to the world, and it retreats
and expands to inhabit different places. But, not only does it exist in its objective state, it also comes
into contact with others through its absence. Within art, the possibilities of representing this
impersonal body are multiplied by presenting us other ways of living through memory container
objects, created from imprints and imprints.
The physical body expires but its imprint when transferred to the object can continue to last over
time; In the same way, when the body stops being, what is printed on the object remains to contain
the memory of what it was.
Resumen
El cuerpo es el punto de encuentro de todas las relaciones espaciales, se abre al mundo, se repliega
y expande para habitar distintos lugares. Pero, no solo existe en su estado objetivo, también entra
en contacto con los otros a través de su ausencia. Dentro del arte las posibilidades de representar a
este cuerpo impersonal se multiplican presentándonos otras formas de habitar mediante objetos
contenedores de memoria, creados a partir de huellas e improntas.
El cuerpo físico caduca pero su huella al ser trasladada al objeto puede seguir perdurando en el
tiempo; de igual manera, cuando el cuerpo deja de estar, queda aquello que se imprime en el objeto
para contener la memoria de lo que fue.
