The division into stages facilitated the process and provided a more organized structure. Interviews were also conducted with parents to learn about their children's needs, interests, and preferences when purchasing a book. (Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-04-03) Lucero Saquichahua, Christian Santiago; López Zamora, Jorge Daniel
The origins of urban art have been linked to illegal or vandalistic practices, but over time its legitimacy as a means of expression was recognized, making it included and sponsored by local governments, it is presumed that it began in France with a characteristic based on in literature and philosophy, then in the United States as a protest of the oppressed classes and finally arrived in Latin America through the culture of hip-hop. In Ecuador it is used as a means of expression to protest the government and the economic power of privileged groups or abusive leaders. Therefore, this project proposes to prepare a book on Graffiti and Street Art in the city of Cuenca from 2015 to 2016. The book "Methodology of Design" by AmbroseHarris, which has seven phases, is used as a guide: definition, research, ideation, prototype, selection, implementation and learning. The information was obtained by the qualitative research method: bibliographical compilation, interviews with experts and compilation of ethnographic information to various local, national, international authors and crews. With the interview to experts, it was possible to know works of Street Art that did not have national or international registration. The final product allows, in a systematic, organized and attractive way, to publicize the variety of styles, trends, different expressions and groupings of urban art in the city of Cuenca. The book has the name "Puro Aerosol" since it is the essential medium for all graffiti artists.
