Item Valoración del desarrollo psicomotriz en los niños/as del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil 27 de Febrero del Municipio, Cuenca 2013(2013) González Castillo, Janeth Liliana; Guazhambo Villa, Dolores Alexandra; León Collaguazo, Gladis Beatriz; Cabrera Cárdenas, Carmen LucíaThe objective of the research is to assess the psychomotor development in children / as 1-5 year old Child Development Center "February 27" . The study group consisted of 52 children / as , the study performed with 44 infants that are within this age range. The research was quantitative type because we helped to express the data in a scientific manner and in numerical form, the descriptive method that allowed to get to know the predominant motor behavior in children / as applied. The techniques and instruments used were interview staff development and assessment of children / as applying Abbreviated Scale Development Nelson Ortiz Pinilla emphasis on gross and fine motor skills. The variables used were: psychomotor development, age, sex, origin, residence. Ethical issues: development of research released to the Municipality, the Child Development Center and informed parental consent was requested. Conclusions: Children / as evaluated between 12-60 months of age found that 36% of children / as are the ages of 49 to 60 months, 57% of children were male , 43% female, 89% of infants are from the rural areas while 11% in urban areas. Gross Motor, 93% of children / as have normal psychomotor development, 7% have a gross motor development on alert. 91% of children develop gross motor skills related to postural control, gait and postural and spatial changes. 7% of children / as 25 to 36 months have gross motor alterations related with alteration postural control and balance 2% of infants 49 to 60 months with impaired balance and coordination of movement. In developing fine motor got that 97.7 % of children / as we present a normal motor development and 2% fine motor development on alert. We have 93% of children / as perform motor activities appropriate to its age. The 5% of children of 25-36 fine motor months have alterations related difficulty in the ability to analyze and synthesize what shows lack of cognitive stimulation of children and 2% of infants 49 to 60 months have difficulty in analysis-synthesis capacity and attention deficit and concentration.
