    Eficacia de un programa sobre alcoholismo en adolescentes del Instituto Técnico Superior Ezequiel Cárdenas Espinoza de la Parroquia Guapán, 2012

    To evaluate the efficacy of a brief intervention program to improve knowledge about alcoholism in teens school Ezequiel Cárdenas Guapán Espinoza of the parish. Methodology: This was a quasi-experimental study, single group pre-and post-intervention pretest-posttest. With teenagers Superior Technical Institute "Ezequiel Cardenas Espinoza". The sample included 89 adolescents of both sexes, the intervention was applied as a group, the same issues including Relaxation, Self-esteem, self-worth, self-monitoring, self-motivation, self-respect and Alcoholism. Results. In general education program gave favorable results, knowledge of adolescents about alcohol, alcoholism and the consequences of alcohol consumption increased postoperatively showing statistically significant difference for pre-test (p <0.001). Conclusion. The educational program from social learning theory promotes the improvement of knowledge on issues of alcoholism, adolescents significantly improved knowledge assessed
