Item Análisis y propuesta de modelo de costo para los servicios tecnológicos que proporciona la Dirección de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones (DTIC) de la Universidad de Cuenca(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-05-16) Chacho González, Jenny Michelle; Torres Gutiérrez, Dayanna Lisseth; Coronel Salamea, Carlos XavierTechnology has taken over the world by being present in all areas with the purpose of facilitating daily tasks, the Information and Communication Technologies (ITC) are an example of this, by optimizing the information that is handled and establishing ideal communication channels for users. ICTs have enabled various types of services to be offered through technology, which have been called technology services. Because of this, the incorporation of technology has achieved speed in the satisfaction of services, and in turn manage the process of carrying out each of them. The DIRECTION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGIES (DTIC) of the University of Cuenca offers the university community different services, for which, it is necessary to carry out an analysis of the costs incurred. In the present work, the objective was to analyze and propose a cost model for the services provided by the DTIC of the University of Cuenca as a tool for decision making. The results obtained from this research showed the lack of inquiry regarding the cost analysis of the services of our case study, on the other hand, it was possible to develop a cost model that adapts to the different services offered by the DTIC, which will allow them to improve the identification and control of the incidence of costs which in turn will be reflected in an improvement in the management of their resources.Item Analizar la factibilidad y vialidad de la creación de un Complejo Turístico en el sector El Plateado, para fomentar el turismo en la parroquia Nulti del cantón Cuenca, en el año 2021(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-05-10) Alvarado Alvarado, Fernanda Estefanía; Sigua Cuzco, Edwin Paul; Coronel Salamea, Carlos XavierThis degree work is focused on determining the feasibility for the implementation of a tourist complex in the rural area of the canton of Cuenca in the province of Azuay - Ecuador known as El Plateado, due to the growing trend in the tourist offer of the city, region and country. For this purpose, different methodologies and analysis processes are complemented to determine the viability and feasibility of its implementation, through the use of quantitative and qualitative techniques, starting from a theoretical conception and information gathering from primary sources through the application of surveys to tourists and visitors to the area, conducting focus groups and application of observation methods in different temporal spaces. The main results of the demand, technical and financial analysis show the existence of feasibility and viability of the project.Item Levantamiento y optimización de los procesos internos de Talento Humano en la empresa Electro Generadora del Austro en el año 2023(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-10-06) Barrera Brito, Juliana Leticia; Morales Albarracín, Emily Alejandra; Coronel Salamea, Carlos XavierOver the years, process management in companies has become essential to guarantee efficient and effective processes, as well as to seek compliance with the greatest possible objectivity. In this way, ElecAustro S.A., a company based in the city of Cuenca dedicated to generating energy, aims to align with this trend. Therefore, the purpose of this integrative project is to carry out the survey and optimization of the internal human resources processes in ElecAustro S.A. The methodology employed combines qualitative and quantitative approaches. On one hand, it utilizes interviews and material review, and on the other hand, it quantifies risk through a matrix. Based on this, a flowchart, an activity diagram, and a risk matrix were developed for each identified process. The findings of the thesis include the identification and analysis of 33 internal human resources processes, out of which 13 were identify to have a "High" or "Unacceptable" level of risk, and 29 processes had improvement proposals developed. Furthermore, the 33 processes were grouped into eight guidelines. These findings reveal the reality of process management, which has been the basis for generating opportunities for improvement in the area. These improvement opportunities are focused both on automating several of the processes raised, as well as on generating a more efficient management, in which lays the foundation for a positive change and with that the company has high expectations of achieving it.Item Manual de procesos y plan de mejora de los subsistemas de gestión de talento humano en la Empresa Pública Municipal de Servicios de Cementerios, Sala de Velaciones y Exequias del Cantón Cuenca EMUCE EP(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-10-10) Castillo Bernal, Kelly Johanna; Piña Pacheco, María Flor; Coronel Salamea, Carlos XavierOrganizations are currently facing new challenges, new trends, where the strategic management of human resources is a differential factor for the success of the organization, taking into account that the human factor is the pillar of the entire organization, so it is necessary to keep it committed, trained and equipped with the necessary tools for the execution of its tasks. In this context, a process manual and improvement plan of the human talent subsystems for the Empresa Pública Municipal de Servicios de Servicios de Cementerios, Sala de Velaciones y Exequias del Cantón Cuenca EMUCE EP was elaborated, with the objective that the activities are developed in an optimal way, avoiding unnecessary tasks, deleting the execution of the subsystems and processes executed empirically, thus increasing the productivity of the employees of the institution and contributing to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the organization. For this purpose, it was elaborated by means of descriptive research, through techniques such as: observation, documentary research, interviews, surveys for the survey of process and strategies for the improvement of human talent management. Within this structure, the manual was developed in relation to four subsystems such as: integration of human resources, organization, maintenance and development of human resources considered strategic for the administration of human talent.Item Propuesta de visualización de datos empresariales mediante dashboards en Power BI: aplicación en las Direcciones Comercial, Producción, Talento Humano Y Finanzas en Fibroacero S.A.(Universidad de Cuenca, 2025-09-30) Quito Vidal, Doménica Fernanda; Coronel Salamea, Carlos XavierThis degree project proposes a data visualization solution through dashboards developed in Microsoft Power BI, applied to the Commercial, Production, Human Talent, and Finance departments of Fibroacero S.A. The initiative arises from the need to have tools that improve access to key information for strategic decision-making. The Information needs of each department were identified through semi-structured interviews, allowing the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area. Data was extracted from the company's database and spreadsheet files, then transformed and loaded through an ETL process, followed by modeling and visualization in Power BI. The project methodology combined a quantitative approach, focused on data processing and analysis, with a qualitative approach based on the interpretation of user input during development. The CRISP-DM and Design Thinking methodologies were applied, oriented both toward technical logic and user experience. During the project, challenges such as non-standardized data and limited access to information were addressed by using structured templates stored in the cloud. The dashboards developed were evaluated and validated with department directors, who highlighted their usefulness in centralizing information, identifying trends, and improving decision-making.
