    Implementpropuesta para mejorar la comprensión del lenguaje matemático de funciones lineales mediante el manejo de terminología especializada con prespectiva semántica

    The present research is aimed at improving the semantic compression of linear functions in mathematics, to achieve significant learning. Based on this approach a didactic proposal to enhance the understanding of the aspects related to linear functions in middle-level students of the '' Central '' Immaculate Educational school is constructed. This proposal is based on the construction of meaning and to do several activities that lead to reflective learning , where the structures are built by the student with guidance from the teacher´s guide. In the proposed activities for the conceptualization of the linear function and other mathematical objects different registers of representation is used, which gives a wider Semantic livelihood, generating a greater understanding of them and thus give meaning to students the mathematical topics studied. It is further considered in the proposal, the fact that mathematics should be studied within a context of meaning to the ideas and concepts because when students can see the connections to the real world applications come to determine why the study of mathematics is useful and interesting.

    La Uve de gowin como estrategia instruccional para realizar prácticas de laboratorio de física en la Universidad de Cuenca

    This work presents the results of the impact produced in the students of Physics 1, of the Career of Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences: Mathematics and Physics of the University of Cuenca-Ecuador, when working Physics laboratory practices through the Gowin´s V instructional strategy, during the semester March-August 2019. To collect the information, it was used a pre and post knowledge test; an interview with a focus group; field diaries and laboratory practices reports, An exploratory study of the information collected was carried out from a qualitative approach. Acquired Knowledge and attitudinal, motivational and procedural behaviors were the variables considered to be analyzed. The results obtained showed that through this instructional strategy, students built their knowledge using experimentation, relating theory with practice, thus achieving a higher level of interest for in carrying out experimentation activities, which contributes to foster collaborative work and to get the learning objectives that were proposed in the subject.

    Una experiencia didáctica del uso de smartphones en una práctica de laboratorio de física

    The objective of the present investigation is to analyze the influence caused by the students of the sixth cycle of the Career of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Cuenca, to carry out a laboratory practice with Smartphones and not very sophisticated materials. The design and execution are detailed to obtain the vibration frequency equation of a taut string. The information was analyzed from a qualitative point of view with a descriptive approach, as measurement instruments an observation guide and an interview with the students were used in order to know their perceptions. The results show that Smartphones can serve as frequency measurement instruments since their sensor is very accurate. Being an instrument that most students have, its use increases motivation and interest in working actively in the learning process.
