Good sleep habits have a positive impact on various aspects of human functioning, such as social and academic domains. University students often lack proper sleep habits, which can lead to difficulties in these areas, particularly in their executive performance. This study aims to examine the relationship between the sleep quality of 40 psychology students and their executive functioning. To assess sleep quality, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) will be used, and executive functioning will be measured using the Tower of London test. The study demonstrated that adequate sleep quality is associated with an improved executive performance. Furthermore, while the correlation was weak in some cases, the influence of sleep on the cognitive performance of university students is acknowledged.
