    Análisis de estilos de conducción eficiente para la reducción de consumo de combustibles en flota de buses

    This current work consists on the analysis of driving styles of different people which operate the buses from “FlechaRoja S.A.” company. This serves to identify driving practices to reduce fuel consumption between the route Mexico City and Toluca City. By identifying these practices, it will also reduce pollutant emissions, improving air quality and reducing operational cost of this transport service company. This current work has three chapters: In the first chapter, it is described an overview about the energetic consumption in the world, the fuel and emissions consumption coming from the transportation sector, and the current strategies to reduce fuel consumption. In the second chapter, it deals with Efficient Driving or Eco-Driving. It is described behaviors, pieces of advice and rules to be followed by bus drivers, the different navigation systems on board which impinge on driving and fuel consumption and the advantages of implementing an Efficient Driving or Eco-Driving. In the third chapter, it is analyzed the driving styles of sixteen buses from the “FlechaRoja S.A.” company, and by using descriptive graphics and hypotheses test, it was demonstrated the difference between several driving styles and different patterns in accordance with the position of the bus in the seventy kilometers of travel.

    Diseño y desarrollo de la estantería metálica utilizando la metodología DFSS en Tugalt S.A.

    Undoubtedly, the development of new products is an essential for any company manufacturing requirement, which is why a method that helps us to obtain products based on customer requirements and quality expected by them is necessary. This thesis topic is aimed at new product development within the current portfolio of the company and it has been used IDDOV methodology it is within the scope DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) and accompanied by some tools as they are : VOC (Voice of Customer), QFD (Doubling of Quality Function), TRIZ (Inventive Problem Solving), Engineering Robust, FMEA (Analysis mode failures) being those mentioned most used and practices when develop new products. DFSS approach is oriented both product design and the process, allowing to obtain products according to customer requirements on the one hand and on the other, achieves robust processes for their production, thus can ensure high- quality and gain a competitive advantage in an increasingly dynamic and practical world.
