This has caused that the systems that support the operation of these institutions are very diverse, with different technologies, own data warehouses where there is a great amount of redundancy of information. All this scenario makes it difficult to consolidate information for analysis and decision making. This thesis proposes a methodology for the construction of decision support systems for these institutions. For this, we used contextual planning that covers the entire life cycle of a project suggested by PMBOK, supported in the development phase by agile methodologies such as SCRUM, in addition to a DHARMA-based business architecture and i * notation to count on a holistic understanding of the financial institution. Supported by a datawarehouse construction methodology such as HEFESTO, which is independent of the planning and development method applied, obtaining multidimensional general models that will be exploited at the different organizational levels of the institution. Finally describes the platform required and also the way to ensure the systems that exploit the models obtained.
