Autoevaluación y heteroevaluación del proceso didáctico de la clase de educación física
(2020) Avila Mediavilla, Carlos Marcelo; Bravo Navarro, Wilson Hernando; Jara Arias, Diego Mauricio; Aldas Arcos, Helder Guillermo
One of the key components to guarantee the quality of the didactic process of a Physical Education class is related to educational evaluation; an assessment in which direct participation agents are integrated, which makes it possible to know its context from the individual perceptions of the evaluators. The objective self-evaluation of the Physical Education teacher allows to identify their strengths and weaknesses in didactic performance; on the other hand, the hetero-evaluation of the students provides a substantial perspective, on which to make value judgments and global decisions about the reality of the Physical Education class. This research work refers to the self-evaluation and hetero-evaluation of the didactic process of the Physical Education class, in different educational units of the city of Cuenca-Ecuador. The study populations were made up of Physical Education teachers and students from the Basic Middle, Basic Upper and the Unified General Baccalaureate level. The results of the self-evaluation reflect that the teacher's attention to the teaching-learning process is far from ideal, while the hetero-evaluation denotes negative results in certain items due to the context of the students

(2020) Duran Quituisaca, Herminio Mateo; Aldas Arcos, Helder Guillermo; Avila Mediavilla, Carlos Marcelo; Torres Palchisaca, Zoila Guillermina
The present study aimed to analyze the importance of the evaluation of motor development in Physical Education as the basis of school sports. For this, a search was carried out with two academic browsers such as Dialnet and Google Academic during the last 10 years. The results in English and at a general level on motor skills are abundant, however, at a specific level, to assess motor skills with projection to sport in school, they are scarce. It was found that there are various proposals for the evaluation of motor development, although there are few updated studies that analyze Physical Education as the basis of school sports. The strengths of using the 3JS instrument are analyzed as a sample that motor evaluation applied to the field of Education with sports projection is possible.

Incidencia del confinamiento COVID-19 en la condición física de niños en zonas rurales
(2020) Matute Portilla, Wilson Mauricio; Bravo Navarro, Wilson Hernando; Avila Mediavilla, Carlos Marcelo; Aldas Arcos, Helder Guillermo; Aldas Arcos, Helder Guillermo
COVID-19 isolation is experienced differently in the countryside than in the city, and consequently, physical fitness is altered in different ways. Therefore, the aim of this study is to determine the incidence of confinement on the physical condition of rural children. By applying a non-experimental design with a longitudinal cut and correlational scope, conditional physical capacities are evaluated through pedagogical tests. At the same time, surveys are used to investigate the activities carried out during this time with 144 children (age 10.7 ±0.8), inhabitants of the Santa Ana parish. After three months there were no negative changes; on the contrary, there was an evolution in the results, due to the fact that the subjects were mainly immersed in agricultural activities and outdoor games. In conclusion, confinement has had a positive impact on the physical condition of rural children.

La actividad física y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes universitarios
(2018) Avila Mediavilla, Carlos Marcelo; Jarrin Navas, Santiago Alejandro; Aldas Arcos, Helder Guillermo
The professors of the chairs of the educational institutions of basic, superior and baccalaureate education, even more in Higher Education, have sometimes considered that the physical culture, physical education, and physical activity, do not represent a substantial contribution in the integral formation of the student in the levels of concretion of knowledge. There is no evidence of the protocols proposed to address or understand the relevance or importance that physical activity can have on the academic performance of university students. The fundamental objective of this research is to determine the relationship between physical activity, psychomotor actions that produce caloric expenditure through play, recreational and sports actions to improve physical and mental health and academic performance, which is the ability to respond satisfactorily to educational stimuli developed through the teaching - learning process to obtain a level of functioning and academic achievements over a period of time, which constitute a fundamental part for the integral and professional education of the student. The research is of a contemporary type, socially adapted to involve the spheres of knowledge, psychomotor, cognitive, affective and social, being the case that through surveys to students and teachers, it was determined that physical activity significantly influences academic performance of university students.
