The sites with the mark TripAdvisor make up the largest community of travelers in the world, reaching the figure of 350 million unique visitors per month, and 320 million views and reviews more than 6.2 million on accommodations, restaurants and attractions. They are available in 48 markets throughout the world. Therefore, that TripAdvisor brand business model generates benefits both to the tourism businesses that are promoted on its website, as well as to travelers seeking to plan your trip based on the experiences and information available on the web portal. By using double-decker buses in Cuenca city, it has envisioned the development of a touristic educational city tour around the historical downtown part of Cuenca, which could turn out to be an important learning tool for primary schools. First, a preliminary analysis of the double-decker buses’ routes will be carried out to clearly determine the main cultural touristic spots that could serve education. Currently, there are not educational tours which can help primary schools promote our culture; as a result, most children lack knowledge on what the most important cultural sites are such as museums, churches, galleries among others. Therefore, this study focuses on determining the specific profile of tourists arriving at the sanctuary. For that reason, there will be a first revision of the main features of the tourist demand, focusing on general aspects that are wondering about the profile in age, gender, occupation, and others. Some of these questions are answered on the first section. There is also a relation based on the profile of the visitors of the Santuario de la Virgen del Rocío with a variety of attractions of the province of Cañar. Finally, a critical point of view will be analyzed derived from the tourist profile. Talking about tourism, many things come to the person’s mind as an example, the need to know and visit places that catch his/her attention. Tourists or visitors take advantage of their leisure or free time to enjoy and leave the routine taking its time to make tourism with the mere fact of leaving their place of origin. People of different nationalities travel around the worldso there is a need to know in depth their relevant aspects when making tourism. The profile of a tourist or visitor is based on knowing by a good source which is the preferences at the time of making a trip. For this reason, being Alausí a townof greater influx attractions of the province of Chimborazo, thanks to its diversity of attractions such as cultural, natural, archaeological, architectural, and rail makes one feels the need to know tastes and preferences of tourists and/or visitors who come to the town. Therefore, the research highlights in a detailed way tastes, preferences, expenditures,forms of travel having a complete veracityon the work done.Item Potencial turístico de la parroquia El Valle, del cantón Cuenca(2015) Vintimilla Illescas, Belén Cristina; Armijos Chillogallo, Daniela FernandaThis monograph entitled “Touristic Potential of El Valle parish, Cuenca canton” represents the first information tool to develop touristic plans there. It contains a touristic resources inventory based on the methodology to touristic attractives made by Ministry of Tourism. The aim is to analyze the touristic potential in this territory that is to evaluate the importance of the resources and their capacity to motivate the foreigners’ visit. Moreover, it includes some touristic activities as a proposal to develop sustainable tourism. As a result of this research, it was possible to classify and appraise cultural and natural richness of El Valle parish. Furthermore, an external and internal analysis was made to analyze the current situation in the parish. The process to collect this information demanded some field trips and filling record cards. On the other hand, this project was developed because of the necessity to contribute to recover two Protected Natural Municipal Areas: Cochapamba 1, 2 and Maluay hill. They were called so by the Environmental Management Commission of the Cuenca government after some studies about flora and fauna in the parish in 2013. Through this research, a total of 17 touristic resources were detected and classified in two types: natural sites and cultural events. The former has 12 whereas the latter has 5 resources.Item Propuesta para la implementación de la ciclo ruta Zhuracpamba, como atractivo turístico de la parroquia Susudel, cantón San Felipe de Oña, provincia del Azuay(2015) Ortega Echeverría, Adriana Lucila; Armijos Chillogallo, Daniela FernandaEcuador is known to be one of the 17 most mega-diverse countries in the world. Because of this, the number of tourist looking for various outdoor activities has considerably increased. Similarly, the main activities to be undertaken by tourists when vacationing has changed. Adventure tourism is now their main preference. Mountain biking, part of the activities of adventure, has the potential of developing, the proposal of this paper the parish of Susudel is shown with its beautiful landscape, geography and climate. This has become possible because there has been an opening of public authorities. Additionally, it is important to emphasize that tourism tends to be a source of economic development and improves the quality of life of the surrounding cities, creating a proactive stance of all actors associated in a direct and indirect way such activity, which is why it is feasible to implement the Zhuracpamba cycle route. The proposal of incorporating touristic signaling and the creation of the touristic product Zhuracpamba cycle route is the predominant functional axis of this paper and its application will be made through various investigative processes that will help get results to consummate the work properly. It seeks to satisfy their needs creating a pleasant and satisfying atmosphere, for all tourists visiting the facilities, offering different packages with many activities for clients of all ages. The study of Corporate Social Responsibility is fundamental, it provides guidelines to offer goods and services according to the current economy needs, a social enterprise features based on solidarity and cooperation, and is intended to develop a profitable business, sustainable and competitive. This type of company is related to the concept of social and environmental economy by creating conditions to easy the access to business ownership. The ETHOS indicators are tools that also make the unification of the concepts of corporate social responsibility easier; they also offer criteria to be evaluated by companies when making self-diagnosis in their processes. Customer service plays in some operational and commercial areas of the airport as Information & announcements, security filters work, VIP lounge and parking, each of which has the first contact with clients and customers. Research on structured surveys of a sample of passengers who arrived and left in the months of January, February, March and April 2015 data obtained through the operations department Corpac, with their results is done information is extracted from the needs, preferences and demographic characteristics of customers, to know the profile with which the company then handles techniques to implement and improve the quality of care and customer service.
