Item La bioclimatización y su adaptación e integración al sector de la construcción(2017) Yánez Campoverde, Juan Sebastián; Arbito Contreras, Gerardo VicenteThe present study proposes an initiative to develop a new type of construction that presents comfort related to climatisation of a housing. This kind of construction is friendly with the environment and energy consumption as well. This project includes criteria and elements of a housing design with bioclimatización that may be adapted to local condition as far as solar energy is used as a main solar source at housing, considering some of the factors that influence in the correct climatisation, such as location, orientation, wind intensity, environment temperature, type of materials among others. The operation of the construction could present higher costs than an average house. However, it is important to mention that the expenditures could be recovered continuously since the housing structure is designed for significant decrease in energy consumption to short and long term in order to reduce high expenditures in consumption of artificial energy that will be reflected in energy payroll.Item Cálculo y diseño estructural hidráulico sanitario(1990) Arbito Contreras, Gerardo Vicente; Arízaga Moscoso, Santiago; Cordero Ortiz, PatricioItem Concreto celular para uso estructural(Universidad de Cuenca, 2016-11-11) Arbito Contreras, Gerardo Vicente; Pino Velázquez, Ángel JulverAerated concrete is a lightweight concrete due to its low density, this concrete is used as a construction material in nonstructural elements. Housing solutions are built around the world with this material. In Ecuador the use of this concrete is limited and in the city of Cuenca is little known; in the country there are about 3.8 million households living in inadequate conditions, although this material may be an alternative to construct houses as part of the housing solution. Three types of aggregates were analyzed, these aggregates came from three different mines near the city of Cuenca and two types of foaming agents were studied. This research was intended to obtain experimental results through laboratory tests, so that the results are reliable methodology of research (Statistical Inference), which from experimental design and experimental planning were able to confirm the reliability of the applied experiments. In the absence of specific rules for the development of aerated concrete, tests with different materials from the area that are part of the mixture were made: aggregates, cement, foaming agents for various ratios of a/c, using as reference the INEN standards, ASTM and ACI. In the process of testing the raw material was analyzed and the one with the best results were used in the experimental process. These results were obtained from analysis of physic-mechanical aggregates and foaming agent. In the process of making aerated concrete experiments were performed with 16 mixes to obtain results densities and resistances ranging from 1.73 to 1.96 g / cm3 and 1305 to 253 kg / cm2 respectively. Finally, with the obtained results a behavioral analysis was made to obtain the conclusions and recommendations.Item Error, incertidumbre, precisión y exactitud, en levantamiento Aerofotogramétrico. Caso de estudio catastro de la parroquia San Carlos del cantón Naranjal(2019-10-18) Ortega Ochoa, Leonardo Andres; Torres Borja, Miguel Alfredo; Arbito Contreras, Gerardo VicenteCurrently there are multiple tools and topographic equipment that obtain field data with centimeter and millimeter accuracy, this diversity of equipment varies both in uses and costs. Therefore, it is important to question the precision ranges that grant their applicability according to the topographic, environmental, accessibility, project and social conditions of the place where they are used with their cost and time that implies the use of each of them. The case study presented consists in the survey and update of the Urban Cadastre of the San Carlos Parish Header belonging to the Naranjal Canton of the Guayas province, for this work it has been essential to have a quality Aerial Photography, in the same way has performed a direct survey using Total Station and satellite technology (GPS-GNSS). It should be taken into account that in the case of the study, social, environmental and topography aspects are involved. Given this reason, an area of 9.41ha has been established for the Aerophotogrammetric survey, describing the procedure in the field and quickly processing for obtaining the Orthophoto at three different resolutions. The objective is to obtain the precision, efficiency, time and profitability of the surveys with GPS in RTK and Aerophotogrammetric mode at three different heights compared to the survey with total station assumed as the most probable value of the coordinates obtained for the vertices of the apples of the study area. Finally, in the analysis of the data obtained in the field, the results have been verified and it was determined what type of survey is more precise for the case study, as well as the efficiency and the times used.Item Perforación de un pozo exploratorio en la microcuenca Churute parroquia Taura(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-01-05) Cabrera Córdova, Fanny Edith; Arbito Contreras, Gerardo VicenteGroundwater movement is determined by hydrogeological factors, therefore, by logging controlled conditions, such as pumping and recharge operations of an exploratory well, it is possible to estimate the characteristic parameters of the aquifer under study; for this particular case, it is studied the characteristics of the area of greatest hydrogeological interest in the Piedemonte Andino Environmental Unit, specifically in the Alluvial Deposits formation, located in Miranda Girón II, Taura parish, Naranjal canton, Guayas province. Geological and geophysical aspects were investigated in the study área, determining the ideal point for the drilling of an exploratory well called MCH-01; from the pumping and recharge tests carried out in the aforementioned well, as well as in an observation well or piezometers called RM-01 and RM-02, located 87.75 and 57.36 meters away from the MCH-01 well, respectively; the parameters for the hydrogeological characterization of the aquifer are determined, as the transmissivity [T ( m2 day)] and storage coefficient [S (dimensionless)]. According to the studies and tests performed, the presence of an aquifer of medium and high productivity is concluded according to the transmissivity values, and semi-confined type by the values of the storage coefficient, achieving a production flow of up to 50 (l/s).
