Item Creación de marca, productos comerciales y empaques basados en la flora y fauna de las reservas naturales del Ecuador(2018) Álvarez Pacheco, Juan Francisco; Eras Loja, Vanessa Elizabeth; Jaramillo Carrasco, David AndrésEcuador is a country of multiple riches, an endless number of places to visit, exquisite gastronomy and friendly people. All these aspects qualify the country as an important tourist destination. Thanks to the campaigns and promotions of the Country brand, the tourist rate had a remarkable increase, but it is still necessary to position the Country as such, exploit its attractions to the maximum. Since the launching of the second stage of the “All you need is” campaign that took place in April 2014, Ecuador began to gain an international presence as a tourist destination. What remains to be done is to reinforce each individual area of the tourist offer. For this reason this project seeks to propose an approach to the country's natural reserves, re-discover them from a new angle with the help of graphic design. The proposal begins with the creation of a brand of commercial products referring to the species that exist in the nature reserves, working with the most iconic parks to measure the scope of the proposal and, in the future, expand the scope progressively. This project starts with El Cajas National Park. The main idea is to generate the products with the help of biomimicry (action of imitating nature) being, in this case, an aesthetic rather than functional imitation. Create eye-catching products and packaging that arise the tourist's curiosity. Change the perspective of the souvenir without detracting the work of the local artisan whose work will always be a reflection of the spirit of the community.
