Item Impactando en la productividad desde un estilo de liderazgo transformacional: Empresa Indurama S.A.(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-10-05) Alvarado Contreras, Erika Samantha; Ureña Rivas, Talia del Cisne; Álava Atiencie, Nubia GabrielaThe present research work was carried out with the purpose of analyzing the leadership styles in the different areas of the company Indurama S.A. and its influence on productivity, since the management of human talent in the company has always been considered an example for others in the industry. Moreover, for several years it has been characterized by having highly motivated, high-performing employees and excellent job satisfaction rates. Indurama S.A. day by day, watches over the training of "excellent leaders" within his organization; however, the prevailing style is not currently known in detail. The collection of primary information for the present investigation was carried out from a quantitative and qualitative mixed methodological approach, through the application of questionnaires and interviews, respectively. The findings show that, in the company under study, there is not a single integrated leadership style at the organizational level, rather it is a combination of the three styles proposed in the full range theory, which are: transformational leadership, transactional and passive leadership or Laissez-Faire. In statistical terms, there is a positive correlation between leadership and productivity. Regarding the latter, it was possible to identify that it varies after applying one leadership style or another. Specifically, transformational and passive or Laissez-Faire leadership styles are the ones that have the greatest effect on employee productivity. The first generates a positive influence, while the second presents an inverse relationship, in other words, it reduces productivity. Finally, there is no good or bad style, its application will depend on the circumstances of the company and the objectives to be achieved.
