    Grabación de dos canciones inéditas en el género rock

    Music production currently represents an essential need for those who dedicate themselves to this field. Because to get through in the music industry it is important to have good quality material as part of a portfolio. That is why the object of study of this project includes the research, the analysis and the recording in home studio oftwo unpublished songs which use rhythmic, harmonic and melodic elements of the rock genre. Within this context, the work is broken down starting from the definition of concepts and characteristics of the rock genre, its historical evolution, some of its sub-genres and some relevant bands. Also a musical analysis methodology proposed by Philip Tagg (1982) in which a comparative analysis is carried out between the unpublished songs and songs of referring bands in order to find the musical characteristics that argue that the unpublished songs have qualities belonging to the genre in question and then present a description of each topic. Finally, a theoretical research on music production and recording from home studio is carried out, the equipment to be used is described, and taking as reference the recording guide for home studio by the author Sánchez (2017), the recording process of the unpublished songs which are fully detailed and then present the final result of the project in digital audio format.
