Item Modelo territorial actual de la zona de influencia del Proyecto Minero Fruta del Norte: Yantzaza(Universidad de Cuenca, 2014-11-11) Bustos Peñarreta, Pablo Ernesto; Alvarado Alvarado, Roberth PaúlThis paper applies the methodology of territorial management by Dr. Domingo Gómez Orea, to determine the current territorial model of the influenced area by a Frutadel Norte (FDN) project. Concerning project involves extraction of gold due to the construction of a mine with a respective groundwater extraction process that is trying to minimize the common high environmental impact usually caused. At the moment, FDN is one of the largest gold prospectors in the world. The current project is promising, as it will give to Ecuador and especially to extraction area many jobs, as 100 acres for the mine were estimated, including a camp and other facilities. The camp can accommodate about 1000 people and indirectly there will be 1500 other people around the project. Once extracted from the mine, the mineral will be carried to an adjacent mine where the facilities for mechanical, chemical and metallurgical treatments are given and finally a gold ingot is achieved., It is estimated, that with these minerals Ecuador will gain high profits due to this goldmine for the next 15 years. For a correct use and exploitation of the given richness and in order to minimize the negative impacts, which are often caused by this type of mining, this paper tries to apply a territorial management plan for anthropogenic activities within the project area and the influenced area.Item Plan de ordenación territorial del cantón Yantzaza, provincia de Zamora Chinchipe(Universidad de Cuenca, 2013-11-11) Aguilera Maldonado, Alexandra Elizabeth; Alvarado Alvarado, Roberth PaúlThe Yantzaza Canton is located northeast of the province of Zamora Chinchipe regarding UTM coordinates 748 063 684 and 9’576.
