    La dinámica de integración social de la población venezolana en situación de movilidad humana de nacionalidad venezolana localizada en las parroquias de Totoracocha y Sinincay de la ciudad de Cuenca durante el periodo 2021-2022

    This study analyzed the dynamics of social integration of the Venezuelan population in a situation of mobility, located in the parishes of Totoracocha and Sinincay of the city of Cuenca in the years 2021-2022. The approach that guided the study was qualitative with the application of the simple case study research methodological design. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews, observation and focus groups, the latter without the purpose of creating estimates. The results obtained allowed us to characterize the lack of access to basic services such as health, education and housing as the main obstacles that people in situations of human mobility of Venezuelan origin have had to face in their integration process; This is due to the irregular process of entering the country, and the lack of identification documents. Furthermore, the context in which the migrant population is viewed by the local population was characterized. Finally, it was identified that the majority of the Venezuelan migrant population located in the study parishes is in a situation of social and economic vulnerability, which has made their social integration process difficult. Therefore, it was obtained that despite the rejection by Some citizens, it was found that the collaboration of social organizations, NGOs and government has been fundamental to support the integration process of the Venezuelan population in the city of Cuenca.
