Item Factores psicosociales en las mujeres en condición de refugio de procedencia colombiana en la Ciudad de Cuenca(2017) Guamán Peralta, Katheryne Elizabeth; Arpi Pillalazo, Bernarda Carolina; Vásquez González, Willian FernandoThis research focuses on women in refugee status of Colombian origin, whom are part of the population with the greatest number of inhabitants enter our country every year, considering it is a very vulnerable group. The purpose of the research is to determine the psychosocial factors that affect women in refugee status and influence their quality of life. On the other hand, it inquiries about the perceptions that they have regarding the receiving city, and finally seeks to identify the type of support their receive from the different institutions that work with people in this status. The participants considered for this investigation were women in refugee status who are part of HIAS institution in the city of Cuenca, and has count with the support of key informants working in institutions such as the Migrant House, the Woman-to-Woman Corporation, and the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility. To collect the information the tools that were applied were an in-depth interview for women and informants and a focus group to deepen the information provided by this women. The ordering, analysis and interpretation was done with the use of Grounded Theory. The main results obtained indicate that psychosocial factors such as discrimination, integration processes, and conditions for adaptation make difficult the access to Colombian women in refugee status to social services such as: health, housing, education, safety and employment, as well as the possibilities of being part of related networks, significantly affecting their quality of life.
