Item Efecto de la grasa sobrepasante sobre la reactivación ovárica postparto en vacas Holstein Mestizas con diferente condición corporal(2017) Aguilar Campoverde, Nelson Adrián; Ayala Guanga, Luis EduardoThe effect of bypass fat on productive and reproductive parameters in mixed Holstein cows with different body condition (CC) fed on grazing in the Ecuadorian highlands was the subject of this research. Four treatments were analyzed: T1 (10 cows) CC> 3,5 without the addition of fat bypass; T2 (10 cows) CC> 3,5 fat bypass, T3 (10 cows) CC <2,5 without addition of fat bypass; T4 (10 cows) CC <2,5 with fat bridge. CC and weight were evaluated at day 270 of gestation, at delivery and then weekly until day 65 postpartum. Average milk production was established during the first months of lactation. Ovarian reactivation was evaluated by ultrasonography once a week, observing the presence of preoperative follicle (FPO) and corpus luteum (CL). (1CPP), CL size of this ovulation and P4 levels per day 10. The first service pair (IPPS) and number of inseminations per prelude (AI / P) were established. Uterine health was determined by cytobrush on day 35 postpartum. For the statistical analysis a mixed general linear model is applied using the MIXED procedure of the SAS (2013) vw 9.3. The cows of treatment 1 lost more CC during the 90 days of investigation, compared to the other treatments (P <0.05); However, between treatments 2, 3 and 4 there is no difference in presence (P> 0.05). Animals that received T2 and T4 fat bypass lost less weight (P <0.05) compared to T1 and T3. Treatment 2 cows produced more milk than T1, T3 and T4 animals. The reproductive parameters of first postpartum estrus, first delivery interval and CL size, there is no difference of presence between the groups under study. Treatment 2 had the lowest percentage (8.12%) of polymorphonuclear (PMN), compared to treatments 1, 3 and 4, with statistical difference. (P <0.05). (1.69) compared with treatments 1, 3 and 4 (2.9, 2.5 and 2.5, respectively), with a difference (P <0.05). The conception interval (CPI) was reduced to 73.6 days in T2, determining difference with the other treatments; In addition, their P4 levels were higher (6.06ng / ml). It was concluded that the addition of fat deviates in the basal diet of lactating cows improves the productive and reproductive parameters.
