Deriving to economic expenses, social impact and the interruption of their daily activities. In most cases it’s impossible to find the source of the pain.The complementary exams such as imaging and laboratory tests in many cases don’t provide any prominent clinical information on the patient’s case. Therefore, exist scales that will provide more specific data on measuring the level of pain and the repercussions on the functionality such as the Oswestry Scale. Objective: Determine the frequency of lumbar pain and the level of disability throughout the Oswestry survey online in patients of the rehabilitation center Armonía. Cuenca March-September 2021. Methods: The following study has a descriptive and observative cross cut approach. Considering a population of 230 people from which we take a sample of 98 people with lumbar pain belonging to the rehabilitation center Armonía, treatment will be registered in the data base for the period of March-September 2021. The selected will then fill out the Oswestry survey online. The data will be analyzed using the computerized statistics program SPSS v.25.0. Results: At the end of the study we found 114 patients that presented lumbar pain, which represent a 49.6% of the data collected, where we then considered only 98 patients to evaluate their level of disability throughout the Oswestry Scale which resulted in 72.4% presented minimum functional limitation, with a higher frequency in females resulting in 43.9% , for the ages between 40-64 years in 41.80% and for the occupation of administrative science in 39.80%. Conclusión: The disability by lumbar pain in this case with a minimum functional limitation caused by lumbar pain is prevalent in females between the ages of 40- 64 years old and in administrative occupations. The Oswestry Scale shows us from a psychosocial point of view the effects of lumbar pain in those who suffer from it.
