Gender violence in courtship is a worldwide problem, which occurs in the adolescent stage in which men exercise violence against their partners in various forms from psychological to physical, under the belief that they are actions of care or love, based on this, the purpose of the research was to identify the level of knowledge, attitudes and practices that third year high school students of the Antonio Avila Maldonado School have about gender violence in courtship. The research methodology was quantitative, applied, descriptive and non-experimental. In this context, a sample of 114 third year high school students was used, the results indicated that students confuse the types of violence and showed that 11.1% of women and 28.3% of men consider that blackmail and manipulation are forms of physical violence; as for attitudes, 21.75% of men and 4.8% of women indicated that they strongly agree with the attitude that the woman's body belongs to the man, and finally, the most prevalent practices in relationships are verbal, physical and sexual violence.
