    This specific project revolves around the investigation and creation of the Contemporary Self-Portrait. It begins with an exploration on the evolution of what the self-portrait has been and what it currently is. Subsequently the exploration comes together with a chromatic proposal that seeks to represent everyday life and it's unique characteristic of unpredictability. Finally leading us to the actual creation of the work, which is categorized as contemporary art. Contemporary art transcends the limits of traditional and conventional painting, all due to the exhaustive analysis of references from different areas of knowledge, through the experimentation of possibilities, and through a continuous and attentive studying of records that explore various artist's diaries.
