Item Análisis de prefactibilidad para la implementación de un parque eólico en el sector Oropamba cantón Sevilla de Oro(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-09-14) Alcivar Peralta, Edison Andrés; Sanango Fernández, Juan BautistaThis is a titling project that analyzes the pre-feasibility for the implementation of a wind farm in the Oropamba sector in the Sevilla de Oro canton. The analysis seeks to incorporate the energy generated from the park into the distribution system of the Regional Centro Sur electricity company, through the application of distributed generation, so that in this way it contributes to the supply of local energy demand, taking into account current regulations. To successfully carry out this pre-feasibility analysis, 6 chapters were proposed, in the first one the context of the titling work is disclosed, in addition to establishing the objectives, scope, justification and background. In the second chapter, a conceptual framework was designed that covers different concepts, such as non-conventional renewable energies, wind energy, wind turbines, average wind speed levels and wind systems already built in the country, calculations applied to the field of wind turbines. Finally, an approach to distributed generation at the local level is presented through the use of renewable energies and the existing policies at the national level for its promotion. Subsequently, in the third chapter, an analysis of the wind resource profile was carried out with the data measured in situ through a Kestrel 5500 meteorological meter belonging to the University of Cuenca, and with the data obtained from satellite systems of the meteorological conditions of the sector with the NASA tool (POWER). In this case, data from the year 2020 were obtained and with the field and satellite information, a regression analysis was carried out and by identifying the cointegration of the stationary wind curves, an empirical model was proposed to correct the annual meteorological data. For the evaluation of the wind resource present on site and the determination of the existing potential, the respective calculations are made using a software tool called Wind Atlas Analysis and Application Program (WAsP) which allows the design and simulation of the wind system that is intended to be implemented. Once these data have been obtained, general aspects of the low-voltage electrical installation and the medium-voltage network, the corresponding grounding, and the evacuation of energy from the park via connection to the network through distributed generation are described (chapter 4). In addition, a preliminary costs analysis, calculations of the net present value (NPV), and the internal rate of return (IRR) of the implementation of the proposed wind generation systems are proposed (chapter 5). Finally, the conclusions and recommendations obtained throughout the development of the graduation project are presented.
