This document seeks to make a technical calculation and analysis to verify the conditions of thermal insulation of a house chosen haphazardly, located in the rural parish of Sayausi, in the sector of Gallo Cantana, of the city of Cuenca in Ecuador, to 2800 m.a.s.l., and verify the compliance of the thermal regulation that sets Ecuadorian construction standard nec-11, according to the climate and microclimate of
the town. We will make an analysis of the thermal insulation, solar protection, ventilation and natural lighting, to subsequently verify its compliance and propose, for each instance, solutions to improve them.
