Item Simuladores virtuales como recurso didáctico para la enseñanza de la óptica en la Unidad Educativa Promoción Social del Austro(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-02-07) Alvarracín Lalvay, Emilio Israel; Guamán Zumba, Yadira Anabela; Calle Palomeque, Carmen EulaliaAccelerated and continuous changes in education should motivate the teacher to respond to the real needs and problems of students, due to the demands that the digital age is imposing. Therefore, the teacher must be able to adapt these transformations to educational environments, challenge traditionalist models to overcome and face challenges that allow him to acquire greater knowledge and skills that contribute to the development of educational skills. For this reason, this work provides the teacher with didactic guides for the teaching of optics, through virtual simulators, which will allow the teacher to energize the context to facilitate and simplify the abundant flow of information that must be taught during a school year. Through research, it has been possible to identify efficient mechanisms that allow the awakening of the real interests that students have in learning. Experimentation allows the active, reflective and critical development of the student without isolating the teacher as a guide or precursor of this processsince it is an essential element to order and clarify the results obtained. The information obtained through the survey and the interview with teachers and students allude to the opportunity to integrate into the PEA the use of virtual simulators for their experimental practices in the field of optics, to broaden their experiences and have a greater mastery of their knowledge. In addition, they can recycling multiple knowledge that canhelp improve their comprehension skills and avoid a massive imbalance of incorrect and useless information.
