This project demonstrates the operation of thermomagnetic switches based on two of the effects produced by the circulation of electric current in a circuit: magnetic and thermal effects. For this purpose, a didactic bench is built, where the operation of the protection of devices of 6 and 10 amperes capacity are tested. The purpose is to implement an educational tool in which the mechanisms of magnetic and thermal protection with their respective trigger curves are replicated in more depth. On the other hand, this project will allow visualizing the operation of the thermomagnetic circuit breaker in the corresponding protection area, given by the manufacturer, through an elaborated guide that will standardize the processes and define the steps to be followed in each test.
