Evaluación del impacto del nuevo modelo de gestión educativa sobre la tasa de deserción estudiantil en el Distrito de Educación 01D06; periodo 2009-2016
The main objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of the implementation of the new educational management model on the probability of students in district 01D06 leaving the educational system. For this, the methodology used was to calculate the average treatment effect through the estimation of the "Propensity Score Macthing", as it is a non-experimental method that adjusts to the nature of the problem due to the unavailability of information from a student before treatment and after treatment. From the literature consulted it was obtained that school desertion is the result of the influence of factors associated with the composition of the student's home, the relationship he maintains with his parents and the school environment. In order to measure the effect of the treatment of the application of the new educational management model, the probability of desertion of the students who were the object of the relocation of their schools was calculated. The probabilities of deserting are obtained from the estimation of a LOGIT model, whose results will indicate which are the variables that are significant for the case of district 01D06, and the impact that each one has. The results indicate that the time moved to the campus does positively influence the likelihood of dropping out in addition to the hours studied in the day. The results of the treatment effect show a significant impact of relocation on the likelihood of desertion.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal evaluar el impacto que ha tenido la implementación del nuevo modelo de gestión educativa, sobre la probabilidad de abandonar el sistema educativo que tienen los estudiantes del distrito 01D06. Para esto se tomó como metodología calcular el efecto tratamiento promedio a través de la estimación del “Propensity Score Macthing”, por tratarse de un método no experimental que se ajusta a la naturaleza del problema debido a que no se dispone de información de un estudiante antes del tratamiento y después del tratamiento. De la literatura consultada se obtuvo que la deserción escolar es producto de la influencia de factores asociados a la composición del hogar del estudiante, la relación que mantenga con sus padres y el entorno escolar. Para medir el efecto del tratamiento de la aplicación del nuevo modelo de gestión educativa, se calculó las probabilidades de deserción de los estudiantes quienes fueron objeto de la reubicación de sus planteles. Las probabilidades de desertar se obtienen de la estimación de un modelo LOGIT, cuyos resultados indicaran cuales son las variables que resultan significativas para el caso del distrito 01D06, y el impacto que cada una tiene. Los resultados indican que el tiempo que se trasladan hacia el plantel si influye positivamente en la probabilidad de desertar además de las horas que estudian en el día. Los resultados del efecto tratamiento muestran un impacto significativo de la reubicación sobre las probabilidades de desertar.
