dc.description | El síndrome de Burnout es una respuesta al estrés crónico en el ámbito laboral, ya que trabajan con colectivos de estudiantes que demandan mayor atención. Diversos estudios han demostrado que puede afectar la salud mental, la calidad de vida e incluso ponerla en riesgo, cuyos rasgos principales son el agotamiento emocional, la despersonalización y la disminución del desempeño personal. El objetivo general de esta investigación fue describir los niveles síndrome de burnout en educadores según características demográficas en niños/niñas con necesidades educativas especiales asociadas y no asociadas a la discapacidad y educadores de niños regulares en instituciones de la ciudad de Cuenca en el periodo 2022-2023. El estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo con alcance descriptivo, diseño no experimental y corte transversal. Esta investigación contó con 60 educadores pertenecientes a la Unidad Educativa Carlos Crespi (30), Centro de Desarrollo Integral y Capacitación Organizacional CEDICA (7) y el Instituto de Parálisis Cerebral del Azuay IPCA (23) y los instrumentos que se aplicaron, fueron la ficha sociodemográfica y el Cuestionario Maslach Burnout Inventory Educators Survery (MBI-ES). Los resultados evidenciaron que los niveles de burnout en docentes de niños con necesidades educativas especiales son más altos que los docentes de niños regulares y fue el sexo masculino, quien presentó mayores niveles de burnout en relación con la dimensión de agotamiento emocional a comparación de las mujeres, por último, los docentes de mayor edad presentaron menor burnout. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Burnout Syndrome is a response to chronic stress in the workplace, since they work with groups of students who demand more attention. Several studies have shown that it can affect mental health, quality of life and even put it at risk, whose main features are emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and decreased personal performance. The general objective of this research was to describe burnout according to sociodemographic characteristics in educators of children with special educational needs and educators of regular children in institutions of the city of Cuenca in the period 2022-2023. The study had a quantitative approach with descriptive scope, non-experimental design, and cross-section. This research had 60 educators belonging to the Carlos Crespi Educational Unit (30), Center for Integral Development and Organizational Training CEDICA (7) and the Institute of Cerebral Palsy of Azuay IPCA (23) and the instruments that were applied, were the sociodemographic record and the Maslach Burnout Inventory Educators Survery Questionnaire (MBI-ES). The results showed that the levels of burnout in teachers of children with special educational needs are higher than teachers of regular children and it was the male sex who presented higher levels of burnout in relation to the dimension of emotional exhaustion compared to women, finally, older teachers presented less burnout. | en_US |
