La incorporación de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en el arte actual

Abstract

The present artistic investigative work highlights Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) as a setting that enables artistic creation and expression based on the phenomenon of communication and Current Art. In this sense, based on the theoretical review of ICTs, the incorporation and uses in the arts in recent decades, an approach to Current Art is proposed. As is evident, in recent years the world has accelerated in communications, and, therefore, it has been transforming the way of perceiving the world around us, along with them, social changes and behavior have appeared, problems that have become systematic, because they are exacerbating individual problems even more: causing addictive behaviors due to the excessive use of ICTs. Furthermore, it is essential to speak of a phenomenology in Current Aesthetics, in the absence of a Classical Aesthetic, and even Modern and Post- modern. Thus, in the absence of a terminology according to the present, we propose some acronyms of spatialities in this Technological Aesthetics: such as Spatiality RA, Sculpture RA, Installation RA, among others due to communication, current technology and Global Art. Based on these references, this text seeks an approach to these local and global issues from the visual arts. For this purpose, the Mobile Application (APPs) is proposed and used as an attractive end-user environment to mediate artistic processes; that is, the Application as an Artistic Format. In this context, the creative process of the artistic work CodesRain Artwork APP is framed, evidencing the integration of ICTs, Augmented Reality (AR) technology within the framework of Global Art trends and themes.
